It took Xiao Yi quite some time to react. He ran towards the wolf's cage without even changing out of his pajamas. Gu Qingxin followed him to visit Xiao Bai and the puppies.
When the two arrived, the vet had just taken the puppies out of the incubator and put them next to Xiao Bai for nursing.
The lifeless puppy had been taken care of. General looked upset, but while Xiao Yi was excited to see the three puppies nursing, Gu Qingxin went over to General and comforted him by gently petting his head.

Getting up, General walked over and lay down again, watching over Xiao Bai and the babies.
