"Uncle...!" Ye Anxin was confused, gently placing her hand on Mu Beiting's shoulder and giving a little push.
Mu Beiting growled impatiently, "If you want to leave, just leave, don't bother me!"
"Uncle, what's wrong with you?" Ye Anxin felt bewildered by his shout and looked towards Pete, hoping to get answers from him.
Pete shrugged helplessly, also looking confused.
"Then, Uncle, I'll take my leave first, I'll come see you again tomorrow!" Ye Anxin felt extremely aggrieved but couldn't understand why Mu Beiting was angry, so she chose to leave.
As Ye Anxin left and the door of the ward closed behind her, Mu Beiting's body went rigid, his thin lips pressing into a line, and one could vaguely hear the sound of his teeth gritting.
Pete looked at Mu Beiting's stiff back, and awkwardly scratched his head, unsure of what to do.
