The New Year passed with joy and peace. Xu Chaomu wasn't a little girl anymore, but watching Xiaobao happy made her happy too.

A few days later, Shen Chi took her to a quiet old street. The buildings lining the street mostly dated back to the Republican era, heavy and profound.
Due to renovations, the area had transformed into a chic commercial street, filled with the aroma of coffee and a heavy Parisian vibe.
Red brick walls, green accents, the street was spotlessly clean.
"The scent of Blue Mountain coffee, the fragrance of lilies, and the aroma of Dior perfume…" Xu Chaomu said as she strolled down the street.
She had heard about this street before. Coming here, sitting by a window with a cup of coffee, an entire afternoon would feel quiet and endless.
"You have quite the keen nose," Shen Chi chuckled.
The street wasn't as crowded as on usual days, and it was easy to spot elegant women chatting inside the shops.
