West Suburb Park was serene until abruptly, a slab stone walkway vanished, replaced by verdant green. The park benches and trees lining the path also disappeared, and if one looked closely, they could see a subtle distortion at the junction between the green space and the gray stone path.
Suddenly, within the small green area, beetle after beetle, the size of calves, began to emerge.
Their yellow armor and thick, iron-hard pincers sent chills down the spines of parkgoers.
"What kind of monster is that?!"
"Help—"
The tourists scattered in every direction, but how could they outrun the beetles? In their panic, many fell, and the pincer, sharp as a knife, pierced through the back of one tourist, lifting him high into the air.
Blood kept bubbling out, trailing down the pincer.
In just moments, countless tourists lay dead.
"Die!"
A couple cornered by a giant beetle screamed. The young man picked up a large wooden board and smashed it down on the beetle with all his might.
Bang!
