The combat assessment carried a weight of 2.5, ranking at the forefront among the eighteen types of assessments. This particular assessment was also the most highly anticipated among all the others.
However, the number of participants was the least.
Combat differed from other items because the opponents the competitors faced were puppets with a certain level of combat skills. Blades and swords are blind, and even though the weapons used in the assessment were only blunt, a defeat in the assessment could still lead to injuries, significantly impacting subsequent assessments.
Some participants initially took part in the combat assessment and suffered arm injuries from the beatings by the puppets; in the subsequent punching power test, they could only exert fifty to sixty percent of their strength... Apart from a few contestants who were very confident in themselves, most planned to leave the combat assessment until last.
