Lilth and Cara stood in the doorway of Leo, or rather Asmodeus, one of the demon princes of hell.
"Well, okay then, come in before the crazy lady across the hallway comes outside. We have much to discuss," Asmodeus, inviting them in
As Lilth and Ciara enter the room, they both look around, admiring the surroundings. Asmodeus made some coffee and brought out small snacks to go with it. Lilith sipped leisurely with a soft smile and said, "Aren't you a good house husband"
"Ma'am, please don't call me that" Asmodeus blushed
"Are you actually blushing? Even the sex fiend could find love" Lilith giggled
"Sex fiend?" Caria looked at him with an innocent curiosity
"It's not really important, dear, please enjoy the tea, and pay no mind to it." Asmodeus trying to distract from the conversation
"Umm, okay", Ciara, confusedly sipping on her coffee
"Can we please discuss important topics like what the hell Michael's plans" Asmodeus said
"Right, but before we get to that, you need to explain to me, Asmodeus. Since I got here, you seem extraordinarily weaker. What are you doing to the human girl?, You chose to transfer your power to her instead of just taking over her body. You could just as easily reside inside of her instead of this, so why," she asked
Asmodeus stopped and looked down at his coffee, memories of the time they spent together played in his mind, "I honestly don't know my queen, for some reason something about her compels me too," he answered, "And because of that I want to ask if either God or lord Lucifer had any human children?"
"Explain?" Lilith intrigued
"I've always sensed both holy and demonic power coming from her. I believe her parents are both human to begin with. So I thought she could be a child of god in a literal sense or even Lord Lucifer's child."
"Hmm, to my knowledge, they didn't have relations with any humans like that", Lilith answered
"I wanted to get to the bottom of this, so I decided to transfer my power to her to help her awaken. I should be finished by tonight, so I'll be able to join you soon," Asmodeus added
"Enough of that for now, but I think I have an idea of Michael's planning" Lilith said
The room felt heavy from that statement; both Asmodeus and Ciara hung on every word she said.
"Oh my god", Ciara said
"That's only a possibility for now, but from what I saw so far, it's most likely his plan", Lilith said
"But that would be nearly impossible to pull off, and with everything you'd need to even start that", Asmodeus was trembling
"Yes, but he's already started to get the things he needs; if he's not stopped, it'll be the destruction of existence itself, ARMAGEDDON." Lilith smirked wickedly
After that weird encounter earlier, Deanna walked down the street with a little extra pep in her step. Ever since she started living with Leo, things just felt better to her for some reason; other than earlier, her eyes don't act up anymore. She just feels lighter, more powerful, if you will, and recently Leo has been popping up more in her head.
"Hey there," someone called out to her
She stopped and turned around to meet three angels looking at her, one of them had curly hair that covered their eyes. Another one had long straight black hair with blue attractive eyes, the one in the middle, who seemed to be the leader, had short curly hair with a low taper fade. They flew down to her, surrounding her.
"I'm Zeph", with the blue eyes, introducing himself
"Cary", the one with curly hair covering his eyes, said
"I'm Ambrose", the leader of them, introducing himself
Deanna looked at them and scowled, "What nuisance", she mumbled to herself. She tried walking away quickly, but was cut off, "I'm trying to get to work, so can you please get out of my way?"
"Sorry, ma'am, but we wanted to ask you some questions", Ambrose said
"For some reason, we could sense something strange coming from you", Zeph floating around her
With this, she froze. Even before the angels appeared, she had sensed something was off with her. That dream, the vision and the feeling of something both good and evil swirling inside her in harmony,
"What are you talking about?" She squeaked out
"You have an intoxicating presence", Cary said with his silky voice
"What the hell!!" Deanna screamed, and as she did, people on the street started to gather around them
The angel's eyes started to dart around the area, looking at the encircling people. Deanna looked at them with a smirk before disappearing into the crowd. She snuck out the back of the gathering. As she made her way to work, the only thing that was going through her head was that they were trying to flirt with me.
"So armageddon might be his goal, huh?" Asmodeus pondering continuing his conversation with Lilith
"That's just a theory anyway, cause he could just do that from heaven. There are certain things he needs to get before he can even invoke it," Lilith explained
"Hi, um…I'm still here, btw," Ciara spoke up, "Why are you speaking about the literal destruction of everything at the moment?"
"Oh, we should explain that", Asmodeus said
"Armageddon isn't just the destruction of reality as we know it; it's also the rebirth of it simultaneously as well. So whoever invokes armageddon can destroy this reality and reshape it however they want. However, you'd need to get certain items to even go about doing that," Lilith explained"
"What are those things anyway?" Ciara asked
"You'd need Lucifer's and Michael's lances that represent life and rebirth and death and destruction, the sacred flame and most importantly God's authority," Asmodeus explained
'If he gets all these things, armageddon will happen", Lilith concludes
"So we need to stop that from happening right" Ciara quietly panicking
"Don't worry, it's going to be fine, I doubt that self-important asshat will even try to enact it, and even if he does, I wish him luck getting permission from his father to even do it."
"Still, this threat is a huge one anyway' Asmodeus shaking his head
"Yeah, that's why you and your host have to meet us at our base, try to bring the other princes along with you if you can," Lilith said
"I'm almost finished transferring my power into her, so once that's finished, I'll bring her", Asomedus said
"The base is an abandoned factory east of here; you should be able to sense me", Lilith said
"Yes, ma'am", Asmodeus, kneeling to her
Ciara and Lilith disappeared in a black shroud and returned to their base of operations. Someone behind them cleared their throat, getting Lilith's attention and with a crooked smile, they said, "Welcome home, Lilith, let's have a chat."
Deanna took the long way to get home, trying her best to avoid those angels from this morning. Passing through alleyways, ducking into shops, and even getting a little lost in the process, but was able to get home safely. As soon as she opened the door, an awesomely amazing aroma came wafting through the air.
The room was dark but was lit by candlelight, and food was spread on the table, with a sleeping Leo barely propping himself up. With a smile, Deanna walked over to him and brushed his hair out of his face. He woke with a smile on his face as well. Leo got up, and Deanna never really noticed the height difference between them.
"I thought you weren't going to come home", Leo said, looking her deep into her eyes
Deanna's face felt warm, and her heart started beating a little fast. "There was a little trouble, but it's nothing to worry about, don't worry about it, okay"
While looking deep into her eyes, Leo slowly put his hand on her cheek. Then put one around her waist, pulling her in closer. She didn't pull away or try to stop him either; it's almost as if she had him captivated. The only thought in his mind was "I think I'm in love with her", he leaned for a kiss, but stopped. He had sensed something and said to her, "I think you were followed home"
The door exploded, sending splinters and wood everywhere; the explosion caused the candles to the place dark. Some moonlight started creeping throughout the apartment, and Deanna opened her eyes to see Leo bleeding from the mouth.
"LEO!! LEO!! WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU?" she screamed. Deanna realised there were arrows made of light sticking out of his back. She placed him in a sitting position against the fridge, trying, tears began streaming down her face
"I'm sorry for getting you involved in this", Leo coffed
The three angels from this morning came floating into the room: Zeph, Cary and Ambrose, looking at Deanna with disgust.
"You were hiding a demon with you", Ambrose looked down on her
"A demon, what is he talking about?" Deanna asked
"Yeah, I'm sorry for getting you wrapped up in this mess. If you manage to get out of here, go east, you'll be safe there, I promise," Leo said, touching her face one last time before dying
"Leo, Leo….LEO!!!!!" Deanna screamed
"What's going on here? What happened here?" Miss Coleman came because of the noise, "Are these Angels? Is Mr Leo injured?"
She tried rushing over to help Deanna, but was immediately cut down by Cary. He watched her go down, "How dare you try to help a demon?" he scoffed
"MRS COLEMAN!!" Deanna screamed, the angels approached her, and she started to panic.
Her hair started to grow long and slowly turn white, and her eye colour started to change from brown to blue. Then a calm and cold-sounding voice whispered to her, "Let me take over" A huge gust of icy wind blew the Angels away for a moment as a tall woman with long, straight white hair stood up.
She was beautiful with a beauty mark under her left eye. The woman was expressionless, standing before the Angels. Cary rushed towards her with his sword, swinging it with expertise, which she dodged gracefully. The woman grabbed Cary's face, freezing his head alone and crushed it. The body dropped to the floor. In a panic, Zeph launch an arrow of light at her. She grabbed the arrow, froze it and threw him back in one motion. The arrow hit him in the middle of the skull, pinning him to the wall.
"Who are you?" Ambrose asked
"Laurel", she responded with no emotion
"Well, Laurel I sentence you to death for fraterizing with a demon" Ambrose said shooting a beam of light towards her.
Laurel just tilted her head to move out the way of the light, the closed the distance in almost an instant. She covered fingers in ice making claws and began swiping at Ambrose but evades them. Because the room was so small Laurel keep getting closer to scraping him so he dodges one of the attacks and kicked her through different floors onto the roof.
"Finally some room" He said while floating high in the air, he forms balls of light firing lazers at her.
Laurel jumped into the air, walking on frozen air. She freezes the lazers and zooms past Amborse forming a giant icicle. Laurel launches towards him impaling him and destroying the top half of the building. Laurel landed ontop of it as the moonlight bathes her and cold wind blows through her hair. She looks off into the distance and exhales frost.
