The months passed with Kaiser spending more time with Daphne since they had fun at the Yule Ball while Luna found new friends in Daphne and Astoria.
Kaiser and Daphne were in the library, trying to do their homework, when Hermione saw them and sat down beside them, surprising Daphne when she heard, "Kai, I need a favor."
"Kai? I didn't know you were this close to each other," says Daphne not knowing that Hermione is Kaiser's childhood friend.
"Hermi is my childhood friend. We went through thick and thin back when we went to the same school until she transferred to Hogwarts," says Kaiser, making Daphne understand that this was a normal interaction between them.
"She even met Thor and Loki on many occasions while visiting my house back then," adds Kaiser as Hermione giggles at him.
"He is just modest. The Masters have two mansions, as his family is essentially royalty, with his grandmother still being a Duchess. One is in London down the street from where I live. The other must be-" says Hermione, almost mentioning where it was, when Kaiser stops her.
"What favor do you need, Hermi?" Kaiser asks, still waiting for her to inform him about what she needs.
"I know that you are just playing along in this Triwizard Tournament but Harry is really struggling. Could you help him a bit in the next task?" asks Hermione as Daphne thought that this was a bad joke.
"Fine, but don't expect much. I will keep his flanks and back safe in the next task, but I will still finish before him," says Kaiser as Daphne looks at him, now confused.
"Thanks, I will leave you two then," says Hermione leaving them alone again.
"Why are you helping your opponent?" asks Daphne, confused as Kaiser looked at her.
"The question is, why not? I won't be facing something dangerous in the next task since it will be a group task instead of something I need to do solo as before," says Kaiser assuring Daphne that it wasn't a challenge like the first task where he faced Fafnir.
"Still," says Daphne as Kaiser places his hand and her hand.
"Don't worry, if I weren't sure I wouldn't have agreed to help Hermi," says Kaiser as he sees Daphne getting red when they hear someone cough twice behind them.
"Ten points from Slytherin and Ravenclaw. This is the Library, not some dating location," says the Librarian Pince, sending the two out of the library.
"Well, now we won't be able to study here for a week at least," says Daphne when Kaiser takes her hand and they leave.
Daphne follows Kaiser when they arrive at the door leading to the Ravenclaw Common Room, and Kaiser answers the question, letting them in.
Daphne saw the library of the Ravenclaw students and now knew why most Ravenclaw students never went to the library which meant they only went when they found nothing here.
Some students seemed to notice Daphne for a moment when they saw Kaiser dragging her behind him and ignored her again. They stood before a bookshelf, and Kaiser passed his fingers over the books' backs. When he stopped at one book, he pulled on it.
It opened the entrance to the secret library, and they entered before the entrance closed itself once they crossed it. They reach a giant library containing many books Daphne had never seen before, when Kaiser gives her the book she was reading just a moment ago.
"Wait, why were we studying in the library when you have such a place hidden away in your common room?" asks Daphne curiously, taking a glance at her book, which has notes in it like reminders or explaining something further and more understandable than the paragraph itself.
"Because this library is a secret that even the Ravenclaw students can't enter. I am the only one, except for Morrigan Masters, my former teacher, and maybe the Grey Lady," says Kaiser as he claps his hands, and a table appears with two chairs at it.
They sit down and begin to do their homework again while someone is spying on them. It is Morrigan seeing her descendant courting a young lady before leaving to meet with another one of her descendants.
She arrives before Sarah Masters, who was inspecting her weapons, when Morrigan says, "It seems it runs in the family to constantly inspect our weapons."
"I need to make sure that my sword doesn't get stuck in its sheath because of all the blood stuck to it or that my guns misfire by accident or don't fire at all," says Sarah seeing Morrigan in the reflection of her blade.
"I can feel quite a lot of blood on your hands but what surprises me is that you don't have any bad karma surrounding you," says Morrigan curiously as Sarah sheaths her blade and turns to Morrigan.
"I killed many people but they all had it coming. If I really had killed innocent people Dumbledore would have been under the ground many years ago," says Sarah seriously as she places her guns back in their holsters.
"What do you think of having a granddaughter-in-law who comes from a magical background?" asks Morrigan trying to poke at her descendant.
"I had to accept many things over the years since Kaiser manifested his magic, and I have to say that not all magical beings are a pest, with some being quite useful, such as the house elves he brought back. They are maintaining not only our seat in London but also in Scotland," says Sarah as she uses her sword as a walking stick.
"You still haven't answered my question," says Morrigan wanting an answer to her question.
"If she is an upright person I won't mind but if she is a danger to my family I will strike her down even if I incur the rage of my grandson," says Sarah seriously as she wasn't against her grandson marrying a girl like Hermione or Daphne but if he were to bring a girl like Pansy Parkinson she would burn their house down to cleanse it from the stain.
"So you wouldn't have anything against Kaiser having someone like Daphne Greengrass as his girlfriend. But what about Thrud? I was hoping to give her hand to Kaiser," says Thor from behind Morrigan.
This surprised Morrigan a bit when she asked, "Polygamy, are you sure that he will agree to it?"
"His brother has also two wives, why should he have something against it?" says Thor, not knowing that Logan's father had also two wives, with Lorena and Jeanne d'Arc.
"His brother is married to two women at the same time?" asks Morrigan a bit surprised as Thor nods.
"It is normal for someone strong to have more than one woman," says Thor as his sons come from different women.
"I would have loved it if my grandson didn't turn into his uncle, who jumps from bed to bed and might have fathered dozens of children without knowing it," says Sarah as her stick hits the ground, gaining their attention.
"Enough," says a voice coming from the corner of the room as they see steel gray eyes looking at them.
The word was said calmly, but they all felt the pressure coming just from the word, making them all shut up as the man walked into the light, revealing himself to them.
"Kaiser is my champion, not my father's nor my brother's, mine," says Logan making Thor and Morrigan kneel before him.
"So he will only have one woman," says Morrigan as Logan smirks at her.
"There you are wrong. It is his life not mine nor yours. If he wants to have more than one woman by his side so be it. My brother's champion married twice, and that was only because he became a widower young, having to raise seven children until he remarried again," says Logan when he suddenly sees a glimpse of someone in the corner of his eyes.
"Anyway, as I said a moment ago. He will choose his own path as did the other champions and now I need to leave," says Logan as he snaps and vanishes as if he was never there.
"Then we will continue to observe him," says Thor not having given up on wedding Thrud to Kaiser.
"We will see," says Morrigan as Sarah hits her stick against the ground taking their attention again.
"Don't forget, he is watching you both and now begone," says Sarah as she holds the stick with both hands and hits the ground once again.
Both Thor and Morrigan were sent out of her room, surprising both as Sarah looked at her walking stick and said to herself, "The birthday gift I received from Kaiser is quite powerful."
Kaiser, on the other hand, didn't know what was going on behind his back as he studied peacefully with Daphne.
The days passed again and Kaiser found himself with the other four champions over the great lake on a platform as Loki was standing behind them with a Gryffindor student by his side.
He was holding the microphone that the Gryffindor student had handed him some moments ago and said, "Thank you, Lee Jordan."
"Now, the most anticipated second task our champions need to undertake," says Loki as he waves with his hands, creating a magical moving picture showing five people petrified, with seaweed holding them down so they don't float to the surface.
Kaiser turned red in danger as two people shown are Hermione and Daphne, as he glares at Loki, who only smirks at him.
"Now, the task is to save one of the five and bring them back. If you fail they will die by the end of the task as you have failed to save them.
Now, I won't make it too difficult this time since you are all participating at the same time but I commanded the Merpeople to help in this task. They will attack you ferociously, but they won't kill you since we don't want more casualties than needed.
Now then, the first three to enter the Great Lake shall be Viktor Krum, Cedric Diggory, and Kaiser Masters. They will be followed by Fleur Delacour, and the last to enter shall be Harry Potter.
Since Kaiser will be in a favorable position, we will give him a small handicap by taking away his advantage, making him enter last to give everyone a fair chance," says Loki, making many brows rise while the Ravenclaw students seemed to protest violently against Loki, who only smirks at Kaiser.
"Well, I will have to put some effort into this now," says Kaiser as he puts his right hand on his neck and the people hear bones popping.
"Let the task begin!" shouts Loki as Cedric and Viktor jump into the lake.
