Soon, it was a fortnight. The King had his plans, and so did his sons. The guest they had all been waiting for had arrived, and the King had his sons assembled for his welcome.
A knock was made on the doors to Eric's chambers.
"Your majesty," the guard on the other end spoke, "It is time."
Eric's doors creaked open, while his guards bowed at his exit. He met his brothers along the way, and they merely greeted each other as they walked side by side.
It was high noon, and the venue was the courtyard.
As always, the princes always made their way in, in time with their presence before the King.
"Has anyone seen Theo?" Williams muttered to his brothers' hearing, while they looked yonder in hope that he was coming. Although Theodore had settled matters with his brothers, he still had an unsettled business with their father, the King. Outside the matter of their mother's death, Theodore still had a grudge against their father, which was an unspoken sin to his brothers' knowledge.
