When he reawakened, he was somewhere he didn't recognize, so naturally he looked around, curious of where he was. Around him there were no buildings or sign of civilization, only trees, it seemed he was deep in a forest, though these trees he had never seen before, but they seemed familiar. As he explored the mysterious forest, he realized everything was familiar even though he'd never physically seen it, then he realized. This was the world he designed for his next book, it was an exact replica of what he had imagined in his mind, though he was curious about civilization. "Well, I suppose my main priority should be to find a way home," he said to himself.
