The War of the Five-Color Treant started with the invasion of the White Treant. At first, each race tested the others, mostly debating, with a few casualties. The few people who discovered that killing can absorb the enemy's [Seed of Perfection] did not immediately want to share this information with the masses.
Unfortunately, the White Treant was the first race to spread this information. So, with profit at stake and a desire to prove their superiority, they began a war by invading all the other territories. Yes, in their hubris, the White Treant invaded all other races simultaneously. As the ruler of the central region, they had borders with all other races, allowing them to open a four-way battlefield.
