"Aaaaaahhh!!" Screamed Jack.
Max slipped out of his hands and out of reach. He landed on the ground, he hurt-badly, but he had to find Max and keep going. He saw Max-a long metal spike in his stomach. He punched the wall as hard as he could-making a dent. He wanted to cry and he wanted to swear, not one but two of his friends were gonna die today, why not him? He couldn't continue to keep his composure and fell backwards, passing out.
"Jack Matthews, Son of Steven Matthews, have you not found out your true identity yet?" Asked a strange voice.
Jack opened his eyes and saw a man in bright white, looking as if he was glowing. He had large biceps and calves, he looked like an extreme athlete and held a great composure, he looked like an angel of some sort.
"Wh-who- who are you..? And what do you mean 'true identity' what's that supposed to mean?"Jack asked, wincing from his pain, and adjusting his eyes to the room again.
"If you do not know what I mean you must not, very interesting. And, I cannot tell you my full identity, however, you may call me Alpha-X21, think of me as an elite military officer."
"Y-you're the enemy attacking us!" Jack screamed, throwing himself up and grabbing a shattered piece of glass as a weapon.
"No, no. Do not worry, I am on your side, to defend this area. I was sent here with my unit to clear the area." Responded the mysterious man.
Jack dropped the piece of glass and sat back down, then remembered Max and turned around where he had been. Max wasn't there, the only thing there was the spike, covered in red blood. He was speechless and he couldn't move, he had gone completely stiff.
"Oh, worried about what happened to your friend? Don't worry, he's in my care." Said 'Alpha-X2.'
"Like I can trust you!" Jack shouted.
Alpha-X2 sighed and said, "Come on, it'll be fine, plus it'll be a lot easier if you cooperate."
"Cooperate with wh-" Jack got cut off by the man grabbing him and suddenly bursting into the sky.
Jack was knocked out by the sudden harsh movement and began to have nightmares.
