The subsequent reception of the city and its civilians by the local authorities did not cause much of a stir, except for the envy and jealousy from the troops sent to take over the city towards the Exoskeletons worn by the Flame Country's special forces and the various uniquely designed machines of the Titan squad. The entire handover process proceeded quite smoothly.
However, this incident did indeed stir up quite a commotion; after all, the Flame Country had directly employed military force within German territory, captured a city, and eradicated an armed faction.
Such actions were previously unthinkable, considering Germany is a sovereign state with its own military and territorial sovereignty. For another country to use force within its borders and capture a city is undeniably a slap in the face for them.
But under the current circumstances, when such an event occurs, both Germany and other European nations do not first think about recovering their lost face.
