At the workbench, Chen Xin was designing his own multi-tool.
Although this idea was inspired by the omni-tool from the game "Mass Effect," unlike in the game where a single chip implantation could achieve all functions, Chen Xin couldn't create such a tool, or rather, didn't have enough survival points and resources to upgrade it.
So, Chen Xin planned to make a mechanical arm integrating all commonly used tools together, which was equivalent to carrying a toolbox on him.
And after equipping it with a micro-computer and scanning analysis instruments, this mechanical arm could analyze the situation by itself and replace suitable tools, eliminating the user's hassle of changing different types of wrenches and screwdrivers.
People who don't work in factories may never understand how annoying it is to not have the right wrench or screwdriver when doing on-site construction.
