"I think there is too much going on right now." Walker had managed to take some time and wander to the cathedral. He found that Alice had her own troubles but had managed to find some time to sit and eat, so he had joined her.
"You are one person." This was not the first time she had said this to Walker, but it was also said as if she was reminding herself.
"I know I am and I know I can't be everywhere at once. I was trying to copy the golem skills that the true sages use to make little bodies that can speak and act for them that they connect with and see through. But doing that would change me, I think."
