Gil figured that he and Walker would help enough that Su wouldn't need to worry when she got back from her personal trip. But Gil could also understand that she might take control of the guard plans once she returned especially since she had the best knowledge about which guards would excel in the position.
"We had her come to the better guarded areas of where Alma has her office. It's easier than trying to split a separate guard group. Plus, if I have to say so, the guards for Alma are mostly for show. She has been training whenever she has free time as if I wouldn't notice. She thinks resting will be more harmful than good right now."
Gil laughed a bit and Walker could only shrug and chuckle too. Knowing Alma, she was too strong willed to be told she should actually relax. Instead, it was a surety that she would try to get stronger despite expecting a child. Even if she did rest, the odds were she would feel too stir crazy to actually relax.
