Chapter 19 - Ominous Tradegy

[10 Years Later]

Byanka gave the throne to Varenka and became known as the Queen Mother and Queen of the Icelands. Aamon married Casanova, the Duchess of Greenia, and they had a son named Lance, who was hailed as the Crown Prince of the Firelands.

[The Day Before Coronation Day]

Everyone was excited and joyous as they prepared for Varenka's coronation. Unfortunately, someone had already planned to destroy the joyous occasion.

Byanka and Aamon had agreed to leave the past behind and treat each other as friends and allies. Meanwhile, Varenka and Lance had grown close, sharing care, trust, and love like true siblings. Varenka often teased her mother, joking that she was jealous because Aamon had married Casanova.

Nevertheless, everyone continued preparing for the grand celebration.

Meanwhile, the Mysterious Emperor had already awakened and was preparing an ambush to avenge his successor, who had failed him. Lady Cierra, who had delivered the final blow that led to Alastair's death, had mysteriously disappeared. However, no one knew that the Lady Cierra they now saw was merely a fake.

[The After Ball of Coronation Day]

Varenka looked as beautiful as freshly polished jade, her elegant gown perfectly suited for royalty. Lance's attire made him appear both adorable and handsome, radiating the dignified aura of a future king.

Lance and Varenka escorted each other into the grand ball. Everyone was filled with joy, yet beneath the celebration, death was already lurking.

Varenka felt uneasy, but her mother comforted her.

"Don't worry. No one can stop this magnificent ball, my dear queen."

Varenka slowly calmed down. Nearby, Lance giggled and laughed at the jokes his uncle shared with him.

Aamon noticed that Casanova, the Duchess of House Greenia and Queen of the Firelands, seemed lost in thought. Concerned, he approached her.

"My dear Casa, are you alright?" Aamon asked.

Casanova looked at him and answered, "Yes, I'm alright, Your Majesty. I'm just worried that something ominous might happen."

Aamon smiled reassuringly.

"Don't worry. Nothing ominous will happen."

And yet, no one knew that the magnificent ball would soon turn into a bloodbath.
