He raised his hands before allowing the buster sword to descend upon the man.
The man atop the flying spear was decapitated instantly. His face maintained an expression of fear in death as his lower body was still floating atop the flying spear.

He then slowly returned to the ground and started picking up the items left behind by the dead group of people. He picked up the bows, arrows and even flying swords and placed them into the systems inventory.
Soon after, he collected their golden cores and placed them within the system as well. Each golden core could be traded for 50,000 experience points and were extremely useful to Xu Que!
"Ding! Used up 5 golden cores. Youve received 250,000 experience points!"
After finishing up, Xu Que then walked over to the ugly frogs side.
According to the five of them, this frog was called Three Eyed Poisonous Toad. The third eye was probably referring to that abscess atop its head!

After looking at the descriptions of the 3 items, Xu Que was extremely satisfied.

The six men and women attacked it from all directions, using different spells but were dodged by it effortlessly. From time to time, it would spray out red poisonous mist, causing the six of them to retreat in fear.

When he finished, he then threw the sword in his hands down to the ground before unstrapping a bag from his waist and placing it down as well.
The other 5 companions looked at him and gritted their teeths as they followed suit.
"Guadang! Guadang!" The few of them threw their flying swords and bags down onto the ground with a clang.
The 6 of them looked extremely unhappy as they walked away.
"Wait a minute, I asked you to get lost and scram. I didnt allow you to walk away." At that moment, the big sized man shouted out coldly.
The entire group of them paused, deep hatred could be seen from their eyes.
The pretty and sweet looking girl in the group looked up at the burly sized man and spoke out softy, "Master Song, please dont go overboard! Although our Great Change Sect has declined over the years, you must not humiliate us to this extent."

"Since when did I have a feud and dislike for you?"
"If thats the case, then tell me whats the meaning of this?" Master Song then pointed to the rest of his fellow disciples who had died and were on the ground and asked furiously.
Xu Que blinked several times before laughing meekly, "Didnt I tell you already? Im robbing all of you. Sustaining casualties during robberies are very common!"
"..." Master Song felt an ache in his chest as if he was on the verge of vomiting blood.
The 3 female disciples from Great Change Sect couldnt help but to giggle out loud. This mysterious "senior" was too much!

Master Song clenched his fists as several veins bulged up on his forearm. He maintained an ashen face as he laughed out angrily, "Fine! Very well. Ever since the day Blood River Sect has been established till today, nobody has humiliated or insulted us. You are the first and shall be the last."
"I didnt humiliate you, did I? But its good that youre angry. Hurry and bring your reinforcements here. The more the merrier!" Xu Ques eyes glimmered as he spoke out.

Xu Que looked straight at Master Song as his lips curled into a smile and he remained silent.
Master Song felt a chill ran down his spine and his scalps turned numb. He then asked cautiously, "What are you trying to do?"
Xu Que shook his head and laughed out, "Nothing. Im just thinking that if I killed you their young leader, will there be even more reinforcements from Blood River Sect?"
The minute the words were spoken, everyone present froze.
They were all completely shocked!
Killing the young sect leader? Is is this kid mad?"
The two disciples standing beside Master Song had looks of intense fear.
The 6 disciples from Great Change Sect were terrified as well as they shouted out anxiously, "Senior, please don't be rash!"

Master Songs eyes gaped wide open as he tried to protect his face from the advancing Dark Buster Sword. His face was stricken with fear.
"No!!!"
The minute he screamed out in fear, Xu Que landed his Dark Buster Sword with full force down on his head.
"Smack!" Master Songs head was crushed into a mist of blood as his body became headless and fell to the ground.
The pair of Blood River Sect disciples were so terrified that they screamed out in horror. Their expressions were aghast, disbelieving of whatever they had witnessed. The young leader had died right before their eyes.
Even the 6 disciples of Great Change Sect were horrified. It took them a long time to regain their initial composure.

These condiments were all exchanged from the systems department store. The entire condiments set did not cost much, requiring merely a little acting tough points!
As for the chicken wings, they were from the wild chickens Xu Que caught while hunting in the forest previously. After having cooked for himself so many times, his already good culinary skills improved by leaps and bounds in the past half month.

The old man nonchalantly propped one leg over the other and said while picking his teeth, "But I must say you have good judgment. When it comes to food critique, I am the worlds best."
When Xu Que heard that, he felt offended. How could he eat my food and still have the guts to brag in my face?
"Please dont brag, old beggar. Dont you know any shame? To be honest, when it comes to food, Ive been named a Food Deity!" Xu Que said in disdain.
"Bullshit! How dare a brat like you call yourself a Food Deity!" the old man said angrily at once. He leapt off the floor and began cursing, "What is the world coming to? Ive never met anyone more shameless. To tell you the truth, I have tasted ambrosia and your roasted chicken wings is bullshit in comparison."
"Youre actually bragging about some trifling ambrosia? This Food Deity has tasted Kentucky Fried Chicken, Macdonalds and even Pizza Hut!" Xu Que groaned coldly.
"What chicken? What Mac? Ive never even heard of those. Dont think you could confuse me just by making up some random names."
"Thats because youre ignorant!"
"Nonsense! I know everything there is to know!"
"Oh please There is nothing in this world that I dont know about!"
"Yuck! Youre audacious!"
"You have no sense of shame!"
The Great Change Sect disciples felt bewildered watching the two of them quarrel.
Whats going on here? They are actually fighting over a stupid title like "The Worlds Best Eater"?
Is this such an honor and glory that you have to get so uptight and fight over it?!
The disciples were dumbfounded. They tried to mediate but could not even find the chance to intervene.
Xu Que and the old man took turns arguing, spending so much time quarrelling.

The old man burst into laughter, "Hahaha! Looks like youve been exposed. Just based on your little cultivation, you probably have not even stepped into Fire Country before. How could you say youve eaten the legendary Peng bird from the Seas of the Northern Underworld? You probably havent even seen it before!"
Having said that, he turned towards the Great Change Sect disciples and asked, "Tell me, have you heard of the legendary Peng bird? Have you seen it before?"
The disciples looked utterly confused and shook their heads in unison.
The Seas of the Northern Underworld? Where is that? Mythological Peng bird? Such a clan exists? Why have we not heard of it before!
But Xu Que laughed coolly, "Old beggar, this is why I said youre ignorant. Its merely the Mythological Peng bird. Not only have I eaten them, I even wrote a poem as tribute while I was in an exalted poetic mood after eating!"
"A poem? Someone like you can even write a poem as a tribute to the legendary Peng bird? Well, come on, recite it for us!" the old man ridiculed.
Xu Que shook his head in disbelief, stood up and began reciting, "The Northern Underworld has a fish known as Kun!"
"Gasp" when the old man heard the poem, his smile froze.
His heart skipped a beat. This fella actually knows that Kun is a fish? Could he really have seen it before?
Xu Que glanced at him and the corners of his mouth curled up. He continued reciting, "Kun is huge and cant be stewed in one pot. When transformed into a bird, its known as Peng. Peng is huge and will require two roasting pits. One will require more sugar, the other will need a bit of spice. Add a mug of snowflake and let us conquer the world!"
"Pfff!" The Great Change Sect disciples spat out their chicken wings on the spot.
What What kind of poem is this! Except for the front and middle parts where it sounded rather normal, the other parts are all about food?
"Ssss!" The old man took in a deep breath and widened his eyes in disbelief. He was completely stunned and could not calm himself down.
He eventually recovered himself and slapped his thigh, shouting, "A great line! One will require more sugar, the other will need a bit of spice. Just hearing this line alone will boost anyones appetite! Truly a wonderful poem. Well-written!"
"Plop!"
Astonished, the Great Change Sect disciples fell off the rocks they were sitting on.
Xu Que looked at the old man and smiled weakly, "Oh dont patronize me!"
"Come, come, kid. Let me ask you, have you really tasted the legendary Peng bird?" the old man put his arm around Xu Ques shoulder and asked happily. His expression immediately became one filled with smiles.
Xu Que patted his chest and said, "Do I really look like someone who would boast about something I havent done?"
"And the the snowflake. Whats that? How can it help you conquer the world?"
"Oh, that is a kind of beer. Now that youve mentioned, I have a craving for it. Since you seem to be not a bad person, the next time I brew some, Ill treat you to a great round of beers!" Xu Que patted the old mans shoulder and said.
The old man laughed happily and nodded, "Great, you seem like a nice kid too. A capable and promising individual! Here, take this as a gift. Have fun with it!"
Having said that, the old man conjured a dark and swarthy piece of jade tile out of thin air. The inscriptions on it were unclear, but there was a unicorn emblem engraved, and it gave off a simple yet mysterious smell.
"Oh, thank you!"
Xu Que took it over and scrutinized it. He could not make out the words but felt that the appearance of the black jade tile looked pretty decent and hence tied it to his waist like a pendant.
The old man stared blankly then squinted his eyes before breaking into laughter. He and Xu Que put their arms around each other and began chatting again.
Watching this scene, the Great Change Sect disciples almost fainted.
The both of you are friendly again?

At this moment, some sounds came from within the forest. Countless of silhouettes appeared in the forest along with a strong foreboding sense of death and murder.
The expressions on the Great Change Sect disciples faces changed drastically. They quickly got up and shouted alarmingly, "The Blood River Sect people are here!"

"After waiting for so long, theyve finally come!" Xu Que gave a blank smile as his eyes swept across the forest.
Since the Blood River Sect disciples really offers themselves up to me, then I shall help myself to all the experience points and rush towards the full foundation of the Golden Core Stage.
The old man heard the movement some distance away as well and was curious, "Eh, kid. Are those your enemies coming for revenge?"
"They cant even be considered my enemies. Theyre just a bunch of inanimate objects. At any point in time, I can use several fingers to kill them easily!" Xu Que laughed out as he spoke.
The old man puckered his brows and laughed along with Xu Que, "Hehehe... Kid, dont be too cocky and confident and do yourself in as a result. Based on my observations, they have quite an army of people with them! Of course, if you would ask me for a favor, I can help you resolve your problems easily!"
"Ask you for help? In your dreams!" Xu Que turned around to look at the old man and tried to determine his cultivation level at the same time. He then realized that he was unable to see through the mans cultivation level and was taken aback.
The old man then laughed out loudly, "You really dont need my help?"
"I really don't need your help. If you were to really help me, Ill be more anxious!" Xu Que spoke our earnestly. He had finally made such big group of people come and deliver themselves to him in the form of experience points. Why should he want the old man to intervene?
The old man looked at the situation before shaking his head and smiling without speaking.
He then thought to himself, "Youre just a mere Golden Core Stage cultivator and yet you speak so highly of yourself. Since youre so confident in your own abilities, I wont tell you that there are 8 Original Infant Stage cultivators within the army approaching. Lets see how you can boast when you see them. I wonder if you would beg for my help then!"
Xu Que completely ignored the old man and casted his attention towards the rustling forest ahead.
"Shiu!"
All of a sudden, several beams of light emerged from the skies and shot towards the forest and landed beside the swamp. It was 3 immortal cultivators dressed in daoist robes and who rode on flying swords.
Eh? Why arent they Blood River Sect disciples?
Xu Que was momentarily taken aback.
However, he could feel killing intent becoming stronger and stronger within the forest. It must be that the Blood River Sect people were fast approaching them still.
The 3 cultivators who were dressed in daoist robes appeared before him. The 2 of them were men and the last was a woman. They were all in the Original Infant Stage with the woman being the strongest among them. She was level 5 of the Original Infant Stage.
What was most surprising was that the woman looked extremely young and was very good looking too. She had a fair and soft skin that looked like it could be torn apart just by blowing at it. She was such a good looking woman that it was almost certain that most men would take a second look at her after seeing her once.
Furthermore she was dressed in a tight fitting daoist robe which made her look otherworldly as if she was a lady who was anything but ordinary. An extraordinary cultivator!
The other pair of men were both middle aged and were somewhat plump. They were both of the second level Original Infant Stage.
"Sect Leader!"
At this point, the disciples of Great Change Sect shouted out to her as they hurriedly ran across and saluted to the young woman. They then shouted out respectfully, "Greetings to Sect Leader!
Immediately after, they then turned to the pair of men standing beside her and greeted them as well, "Elder Mo, Elder Li!"
Xu Que was taken aback!
Damn me! Great Change Sect actually had such a gorgeous looking Sect Leader? It probably isnt an old woman using spells to conceal her old age right?

"Ive heard that the young leader of Blood River Sect has been killed and implicated you. Hence, I rushed down as soon as I could! What happened here?"
The gorgeous looking Sect Leader asked her disciples, her voice rang out like the beautiful symphony of bells and was extremely pleasant to the ears.
The few disciples looked at each other in uncertainty before reporting the entire sequence of events to their Sect Leader. From time to time, they would even stretch out a hand and point at Xu Que.
The young lady Sect Leader and the pair of Elders listened halfway as their faces broke out in astonished looks. At the same time, they raised their heads to look at Xu Que before asking their disciples more questions. "What youre saying is that this black robed man intentionally killed Master Song so as to lure more Blood River Sect disciples over?"
"Mm!" The disciples nodded their heads agonizingly.
"This..." The pair of Elders were astonished by these facts. Theyve never witnessed anything as incredulous as this in their entire lives.
"Why would he do that?" The Sect Leader asked.

At the next moment, the young lady and the pair of Elders shot glances towards Xu Que once more.

A beep rang out in Xu Ques head, signalling his success in acting tough.
Soon after, the disciples started recounting the story of how Xu Que managed to kill the Original Infant Stage Blood Python with just a single move. The young woman Sect Leader and Elders were stunned and flabbergasted when they heard this.

"Ding! Congratulations to host Xu Que for successfully acting tough. The reward is 60 act tough points!"
Another beep echoed out within Xu Ques mind.
The beeps rang out twice in such a short span of time. Xu Que just blindly collected his act tough points without even understanding why he had earned them.
At this point, the Blood River Sect members were almost reaching!
The heavy movements and rustling of leaves were getting louder. It almost seems like a huge gale was building up within the forest. Soon after, several dozens of shadows emerged with a whoosh from behind the shadows of the forest.
This group of people all wore the same full-red long robes as they wielded their flying swords or spears. Killing auras radiated from the entire group of people as they encircled and surrounded the entire swamp within seconds.
The Sect Leader and Sect Elders of Great Change Sect turned around to see the situation they had been caught up in and their faces turned ashen.
"Damn it! Those few people from Blood River Sect are here!"
Following the soft whisper from the female Sect Leader, 8 shadows emerged from the large group of shadows. All the 8 of them were Original Infant Stage cultivators and were extremely intimidating individuals. Their killing intents covered the entire swamp.
One of the men within the group of eight had the heaviest aura and was clearly the most powerful among them. His entire face radiated severe killing intent as his eyes turned bloodshot. It was evident that he was enraged and was about to blow up in fury.
He glanced at his surroundings before his vision stopped right at the side where a huge boulder stood. His face fell instantly as he shot towards the boulder and fell to his knees. He clutched the dead headless body and shouted out in agony, "Child, my child!"

In that instant, a terrifying killing aura shot out from within his body and took the form of a hurricane as it started pooling around him.
"The bastard who killed my son Come out here now!" The middle aged cultivator shouted out. The strength in his voice was startling and caused many peoples stomach to turn and their ears to hurt.
The Great Change Sect Leader and the pair of Elders froze.
The Sect Elders then asked in hushed voices, "Sect Leader, what should we do?"
The woman frowned worriedly, "That black robed man saved our disciples. We have to help him."
"But"
"There are no buts. Although the standings of our Great Change Sect has dropped, we cannot throw away our sense of righteousness and justice!" The woman insisted fiercely.

Indeed, Xu Que never saw the Blood River Sect group as a threat to his life. Instead, he was feeling extremely uncomfortable with strange expressions that the dirty old man kept giving.
