Yuan entered the tunnel shortly afterward, with the Scorpion Squad following close behind.
At first glance, the tunnel looked no different from the ones he had explored before. However, the deeper they ventured, the more apparent the differences became. The passage gradually widened, and before long, it branched into two separate paths.
"Which way do we go?" Yuan asked Captain Chen. "I've never seen tunnels branch like this before."
"I'm not surprised. This only happens in the Purple Zone," Captain Chen replied.
"As for which path to take… it doesn't really matter. Well, it does, but they all eventually lead to the same destination. The only difference is what you'll encounter along the way. Some paths have far more Void Specters than others, while some have tougher ones. Of course, if you're unlucky, it could be both."
They hadn't encountered a single Void Specter up to this point, but Yuan had a feeling that would change very soon.
