A thousand years ago, the Holy Hall chose Zhongjing as the site to build its headquarters, Feiyun Palace.
The entire palace is built along the mountain and completely imitates the ancient Huaxia style. The main hall sits majestically atop the peak, with its exterior crafted from gold and white jade, creating an extremely luxurious and grand appearance.
On the first and fifteenth days of each month, along with various festivals like the Divine Emperor's birthday, the main hall of Feiyun Palace opens to the public.
During those times, the mountain path leading to the summit temple is filled with tourists and devotees.
Gao Xuan arrived before dawn. In the deep night, Feiyun Palace was lit by scattered lamps that were clear but not glaring. The vast palace complex appeared even more serene and tranquil under the gentle glow.
