In the morning, Julian Rhodes woke up first, while Scarlett Xavier was still asleep.
After getting up, he sat by the bed, watching her for a while. He realized that the happiest thing now is waking up to see her beside him.
He gazed at her for a while, and gently caressed her cheek as if confirming she was not just a figment of his imagination.
Scarlett found him noisy, so she grabbed his hand and buried her face in the pillow.
Julian looked at her, smirking slightly. He said to her, "I'm getting up. What about you? Are you still going to sleep?"
"Mhm."
Julian replied, "Then sleep a bit more. I'll come back and wake you up later."
"Alright." Julian got up and started to dress upon hearing her words.
Before leaving, he tucked her in, taking one last look before heading out.
His brother and Vivian Bell, along with Liam Rhodes, were all there, having breakfast together.
