Scarlett Xavier sat in her seat for quite a while before she snapped back to reality.
She looked at Mrs. Rhodes, feeling as though this topic could no longer continue.
Annoyed, she said, "There's already a child like Nina, do you think I'd have a child with Julian Rhodes? I won't let my child become a tragedy."
Scarlett glanced at Mrs. Rhodes and said, "Don't come looking for me again. I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself and say something impolite to you. Sorry, but I'll be leaving."
After saying that, Scarlett stood up and walked out the door.
Old Du followed her out, "Young Madam."
"Call me by my name."
"Scarlett." Old Du said, "The mistress doesn't truly want you to have a child; she just doesn't want you to divorce Julian... Her intention is just for you to stay, don't misunderstand. She only thinks that with a child, you wouldn't want to leave the Griffin Family."
