Julian glanced at his father, "Hmm."
The last time Julian lost his temper and left, no one in the family could stop him, and everyone knew it. Seeing him willing to come back now, Mr. Rhodes was also relieved.
Julian glanced at his father, sat down beside him, and listened to his parents asking about his recent work. He said it was going well and then didn't say much more.
After a while, he said, "I'm going to check on Grandpa."
Then he went upstairs.
Mrs. Rhodes sat on the sofa, watching Julian's back, her face full of worry. She looked at her husband and said, "It seems he's still blaming me. He never used to be like this. Now when he sits with me, he can't even say a few words."
"Haven't you already gone to see Scarlett Xavier?" Mr. Rhodes asked.
Mrs. Rhodes said, "Yes, I did, but Scarlett wouldn't come back with me. She even said she wants to divorce Julian."
"Divorce?" Mr. Rhodes looked at Mrs. Rhodes.
