(Ryu's POV)
"Wake up, young dragon. Thy time to die is not now, only when evil perishes, shall thy time be nigh." This voice echoes to me in a weird way, almost if it's an ancient being to be speaking in such a way.
"Indeed, young dragon. I am an ancient being, born from thy people who wish for justice and truth. I am the sword that smites all who opposes the code of justice, and I am the shield that protects thee from those who wish harm against the innocent. I am justice incarnate, I am Bahamut, the Dragon King." Okay, so this guy can hear my thoughts, and he is a literal dragon king, but I don't even know if I should trust him. He's just a voice in my head.
"No, young dragon. I am no voice that speaks in thy head, I am the manifestation of thy power, which thy people call as quirks. Thy power has evolved from the blast to use to influence that young boy. Thy deeds have started to carve a path towards true peace, and thy story is just beginning." Suddenly, a fire sparks in the distance before it expands into a much larger fire that is as large as the largest building in the world. It soon materializes into an actual dragon that is massive in scale. This dragon is bipedal and has jet black scales with some dark grey ones on it's underbelly. It has two pairs of black wings with the webbings being the same dark grey as it's underbelly. However, the most noticeable features are the red horns on it's head, with a flaming crown floating above the horns to symbolize it's status of king.
"Greetings, young dragon. My form that which thou sees before thee is my true form." His voice echoes through the dark abyss around us as he kneels down and gestures for me to hop onto his hand. I do so hesitantly as he lifts me up to head level.
"Listen well. For thy time to wake up is nigh. A being of pure evil shall appear before thine plane of existence and shall bring chaos upon the world. Only I, and I alone can put an end to this adversary, however, I require thine assistance to face this adversary. Thou shall be granted the power of the Dragon King and will be trained by my guidance, and thou shall fight on in the name of justice and peace. Art thou willing to accept my offer?" I have no choice but to accept, so I nod to the Dragon King with a look of determination before he holds up his other hand up to the one I am standing on, opening it up to reveal a necklace of dragon with two bright ruby gems encrusted for the eyes.
"Take this, for the power thou has is unstable. This necklace shall help to form thy power into a weapon for justice. It is thine to keep." I quickly put it on with a small smile before turning back to Bahamut.
"Thank you, Bahamut. For helping me with all of this, but why me?" I sadly question him.
"Thy life thou has been born into, was full of distress, pain, sadness, rage, and many more. However, thy determination has never wavered in the face of adversity, and thy qualities have garnered my attention." Suddenly, the abyss around us starts to slowly turn white, little by little, signaling me that I'm about to wake up, but before I can go, Bahamut leaves me with a final question.
"Tell me, young dragon. Who shall win, in a battle for the world? All the powers in the world for one man, or a single power dedicated to the whole world?" That question continues to linger in my mind before the white slowly encompasses my vision, and I wake up to the sound of a heartbeat monitor, yet again. I look to my left, I see Recovery Girl, and to my right, I see my parents sleeping with my mom's head on my dad's shoulder. A sigh escapes my lips as I sit up slowly to not provoke any injuries from acting up, but I groan in pain, waking my parents up and signaling Recovery Girl to look towards me.
"Ah, you're awake. Good, you're parents have been worried sick for you, and you can see it on them, right about..." I got confused by what she has said, but then I feel my mom hug me tight with crying her eyes you.
"Oh my baby boy, why did you do it again!? Are you actually TRYING to kill yourself!?" I chuckle and hug her back.
"I'm sorry, mom. I was angry at that time, when Bakugo nearly burnt Izuku and I to a crisp. He was willing to go through the most desperate of measures to become stronger, so I had to have done something or he just won't change. Speaking of, how are the others? Iida, Uraraka, Izuku, and Bakugo." My dad sits beside my bed with a neutral gaze.
"Bakugo is recovering normally, Iida, and Uraraka are not heavily injured from the blast since Midoriya managed to save them in time, and he's fine too. You on the other hand..." He points to my upper body which I somehow find that the charring is only up to my arms and didn't reach my entire body. This confused all of us, mostly Recovery Girl and myself.
"Hmmm, that's strange, there was charring all over your body when we treated you. Somehow it's disappeared." Then out of nowhere, that same ancient voice echoes through the room.
(Third Person POV)
"I am the one responsible for the young dragon's recovery. Do not worry, he is a resilient one." Ryu's consciousness is then transferred into a dark landscape with the image of the infirmary on it, almost like a really big window into the real world.
"Hey, Bahamut! What's the big idea!? Did you really have to do what you just did!?" He shouts out in frustration while trying to look for a way to get out.
"My apologies, young dragon. I merely wish to inform thy kin of my presence. And greetings to the kin of the young dragon. I am the Dragon King, Bahamut, Keeper of Peace and Justice, and the manifestation of such." To the three Pro Heroes, Ryu's eyes have changed from his fiery orange color to a blood red color, and his voice sounds older than Ryu's actual tone.
"Ummm, hello there...? What have you done to my son?" Kurou says confusingly about the entire thing, but Bahamut just chuckles.
"Do not fret. I merely transferred thy son's consciousness into a mindscape that he may use overlook the real world. When unconscious or near death, he may call upon my presence to fight for him with his body." He says as he get out of the bed and looks out to the window. His clasps his hands behind his back while overlooking the school ahead.
"I haven't seen the real world in over a thousand years. It has gotten much more beautiful over the years." He says, not even turning back to face Ryu's parents and Recovery Girl.
"I assume thou has questions. Ask them now, before I shall return thy son's consciousness back to his body."
"We just have one, can we trust in you to help keep our son safe from harm?" Okami says, skeptical about the sudden new of a Dragon King inhabiting his son's own body.
"As the Dragon King, it is my duty to stand by those who cannot fight. Thou has my word to keep thy son safe from harm." He turns back to them with a nod, which the two parents nod back as a response. Then, Bahamut turns to Recovery Girl and nods back to her as well before his eyes turn back into their fiery orange as Ryu regains control over his body and stumbles onto the floor.
"Woah, that was weird, it's like I have the full perception of what was around me, but I didn't have control of my actions." They all help him back into bed.
"We're just glad that you're okay, but tell us, Ryu, what happened to you? Why do you have a supposed dragon king inside you?" Kurou says worryingly. It was a long story for him to tell, but he manages to relay it easily for the three of them to understand, with the help from Bahamut, who relays some piece of history of himself. All in all, Ryu's injuries have healed miraculously within the span of a few hours, and he is soon discharged from the infirmary. Sadly for him, class has just ended an hour ago, so Ryu and his family went straight home and got themselves some takeout sushi for dinner. In Ryu's bedroom, he sits in bed, mentally talking with Bahamut.
"Bahamut, about training me with my quirk, what do you have in mind for me to do?" He firmly grasps onto the necklace around his neck.
"Thy body is a vessel to contain the energy thou possesses. Too much of thy energy stored into your body, and thou shall implode into a massive explosion."
"Thanks for stating the obvious, Bahamut..." Ryu says sarcastically, which receives a chuckle from the dragon king.
"I may be stating the obvious, but I am merely trying to understand thy weaknesses to be able to train you in the most effective manner. For that, training thou shall be rigorous, art thou ready to face what lies ahead?" With a determined look on my face, I respond with vigor.
"I am ready, Bahamut. I am ready to train under the manifestation of justice."
"Then tomorrow, thy training shall begin. It is time for thou to spread thy wings and take flight!"
