We were all gathered. All the council, me, Reece, Aunt Glory, all of us. This was going to be a big meeting and there was going to be some revelations given to the others soon. I didn't know why, but every single time that I sat before the council like this, I was nervous.
I really shouldn't be nervous at all. I mean, they worked for me. They were a council that I founded with the help of those around me. I was the one who gave them the power that they had. Still, I always felt like a little kid in school that was about to give a report to all of their teachers at once.
I truly felt like there were going to be several of them criticizing me because you could never truly please them all at once. It had never happened, of course. They had all been truly agreeable with me in the past. There had never been any major arguments or fights that broke out among my council. Truly, it has always been going way better than I had ever hoped that it would.
