Maverick Knight leaned back in his chair, speaking indifferently, "No aftereffects, unless she's still working for the Blaine Corporation?"

Jace was well aware of this. "The party at the Sullivan Family is next week, want to join the fun?"
"Not interested."
"It's Mrs. Sullivan's birthday. Aidan Sullivan's so-called fiancée will be attending," Jace said.
Maverick Knight said indifferently, "What does that have to do with me?"
"Just mentioning it, nothing significant." Jace curled his lips meaningfully.
