However, when the three of them moved together, preparing to delve deeper into the Temple to confront the approaching evil creatures, they suddenly discovered that those evil creatures were completely ignoring them. Some howled and brushed past them, while others simply fought each other, no longer pouncing upon any humans they saw like before.
Their behavior was as if they couldn't see Shane and his companions at all, which was surprising to the trio.
"What's going on here?"
Oz intentionally threw a punch at one of the evil creatures, blasting its head clean off, yet it didn't even glance at Oz, leaving him astonished.
"Can they really not see us?"
Shane too swayed in front of a few evil creatures, and just like with Oz, they didn't even give him a glance, instead charging at each other, embroiled in mutual slaughter.
The situation was truly baffling.
