Ye Xian arrived at the film set just in time to see Luo Yuwei stepping out of the nanny van from across the road; the two saw each other.
Ye Xian reached out to greet her, but Luo Yuwei acted as if she saw nothing and walked right past her without even a look back or a simple gesture of acknowledgement, indifferently treating her as if she were thin air.
Ye Xian's smile froze, Zhou Lu saw the cold back of Luo Yuwei and the scornful snort from Xiao Nan as she passed by, opened her mouth in disbelief, and then jumped in anger, "Brother Ye, look at her! Isn't she just too arrogant and rude?!"
Ye Xian also found it odd. Although she had already noticed that Luo Yuwei had become colder towards her, in face-to-face encounters like this, there would typically be some perfunctory nodding. But earlier, as she walked past her, her eyelids drooped, the side of her nose wrinkled—it was clearly an expression of disgust, or even jealousy.
