"She's still not waking up I see,"
The other figure walked in and stood next to the bed where Shai lay her head covered with a cold towel, her hands clenching onto Shai's arm. Art was watching her breath seeing how shallow her breaths are. She lay her head on Shai's chest hearing her breaths,
"No she hasn't, her breathing has only gotten slightly better," Art mutters against Shai's chest lifting her head off,
She looked at the other figure discerning, he had a frown that reached his eyes the glint of mischief she had seen before was not gone but faint as he stared down at Shai's faint form, her complexion pale her breath incoherent. Her hand lost in Art's grip, The figure regarded Hermes floating beside him her arms behind his head while his golden blue eyes watched intently at Shai just like he is. His hands tighten around his neck as he observes Art tending to Shai cradling her afraid that she might break at the slightest wrong touch. Hermes didn't look at him but only watched over Art and Shai with a steady strong stare. The other figure turned slightly to him his white gaze on Hermes, he wanted to understand something.
"The gods Athena and Ares are looking for Hermes. Do you think they will be able to help her?"
Hermes took a moment to contemplate before his blue gaze met his whites, the other figure watched the way his eyes held such certainty in them that he felt a sudden surge of courage. That is when Hermes answered, leaning closer to him,
"Without a doubt, they will find a way to help Shai. But im not sure they will wake after they are done healing her, that will be up to Shai,"
Hermes scanned over her once more,
"What happened on that roof drained her..to the point where her body almost went into a coma. But Art was able to keep her out of it,"
Hermes motioned towards Art's hands,
seeing them glowing a faint green with small vines on her fingers as she redraps the towel on Shai's head
The other figure's eyes widened so slightly that his head turned to him, "Almost how was she able to not be in a coma after that. It's remarkable,"
The other figure moved his gaze to Art seeing her tending to Shai, he fist his hand at his side his knuckles turning a pale white, he peered at Hermes asking one more time,
"Then what do you think had to happen for her to be so drained and torn apart? It had to take all her strength and spate her out like a piece of gum?"
Hermes thought he would ask this out of all the other questions, Hermes peered over at Shai his voice uncertain,
"Some of it is the fight with Apet that the only reason she didn't get through the portal was the weapon...Dalos would have done something to stop that. But he didn't let it all happen like a plan being drawn out before him."
"He anticipated that we would go to the building. He knew we would help free your family in exchange for your help..he predicted it even,"
"Predicted maybe, but he knew what we were doing...he prayed for it even if he wanted no one to know, I think he got out of his cage that is obvious...but what if he let it happen taking and using the situation to break him out of his infernal cage."
The other figure moved closer to Hermes in almost unbelief, his hand pointed to Hermes trying to put together what Hermes had considered happened to Shai, the other figure's face contorted in confusion when he spoke,
"He used Shai like an enamored follower for weeks gaining her trust by helping her with Herman before showing himself to her making it seem like he would cause her no harm, charming her in a way when he waited and watched her make a deal, he knew that would lead him back to Apet,"
"And finish his plan yes I believe that is what happened... you're quick other not bad for well...for you"
The other figure now pointing at Shai glared at Hermes baffled, "Now you're putting your ego on display? Took you longer than I thought, Hermes. I respect that,"
Hermes grins at him tilting his head to mock him a little more acting bashful with his eyes squinted,
"I don't need to have your respect to have my pride, but your sentiment is... appreciated,"
Hermes pats his shoulder with his other hand, flippant in the air, "Some what,"
Hermes let go of him as he stalked towards Shai's side of the bed leaving the other figure there standing for a moment at Hermes' audacity. When he let out a faint chuckle holding his head when he let his head fall back his hair swung around his shoulders and neck as he let out a laghu moving a hand through his hair...
"Figuer,"
The other figures eyes shot open he looked at Art seeing her awed and worried expression her hands shaking holding Shai, his white gaze moved to Shais had seeing it twitching, he moved closer to the bed next to Art, he looked over Shai seeing the small end of her pale lips turning up, her hand clasp Arts softly like a faint grip like a infant trying to grab there mothers hand.
"She responded to your laughter..she must have heard it in her slumber..she reacted,"
Art murmured like a soft prayer,
The other figure's eyes softened slightly as he rubbed her shoulder, he felt Hermes behind him observing them and Shai,
"If she's reacting that's good that means she can hear us and hopefully can communicate with us through her body...Art?"
Hermes turned to her not hearing a retort or her usually composed response, but he heard nothing and he turned his gaze to Art, she stared off at Shai her hand tightened around Shais while the other figure rubbed her back his eyes filled with companion, he shook her a light but it did nothing she still stared at Shai her lips curling up when she heard a soft sizzling sound coming from the door, The other figure shot his head up at the door seeing the faint light in the middle of the door, He let go of Art standing up straight as he went to place his cloak back on having the worst thing possible playing in his mind, Dalos sending back his men to finish Shai after finding out shes alive. to somehow Apet lived and seeked to find them as well, he felt a hand grab the head of his cloak pulling him back the other figure recoiled and shifted peering his gaze to Hermes holding his cloak, he stared at the figure with a nonchalant glint in his eyes, a grin that couldn't leave his face,
"It's not what you're thinking there, get those horses back in the stables and take another look at who is in that portal before going off half cocked,"
The other figuer stared at him confused pulling Hermes hand off his cloak, a faint glare the other figuer sent him when the apparent glow became bigger, it grew into the door as they where able to see what laid on the other side it was the throne room they hear a conversation that could be heard throught the other side of the portal as a outline of a person. It looked like Athena to him and it was she who stepped into the room her body fading through the portal she looked over then when her blue gaze met with Shai's body she saw the faint flicker in her hand, she stood moving away from the portal, and asked,
"Shai. How is the holder faring?"
Athena walked slowly to Art her hand clenching beside her and elan towards them, Art glanced at her having a glimpse of the next person walking out of the portal he had blonde almost white glowing hair that reached there shoulders his eyes had the same faint glow his talk was more than seven feet covered in pure white cloth mixed with gold glowing armor. Having a small weapon from what he saw he knew it was,
"Apollo buddy how is being out of your cage nice right,"
Hermes teased flouted past the other figure his body flouting just above Apollo's shoulder, Apollo for his credit only smiled at the flying menace his white gaze shone brightly as he chukled,
"Same as always Hermes? Well, it's been a better day now out of that prison it's been the most free I've felt in a long while,"
Apollo let out a soft hum as he looked at Athena, he stalked closer to her seeing Art beside a pale young woman, the description is the one Athena had told him of the one that broke them out. Apollo smirked feeling the power behind him that familiar power, he moved aside as he smiled at Art,
"Sorry, we got here a bit late my father was running us a bit late,"
Apollo moved letting the silhouette of the man behind him
