Chapter 1 - Death in Life to Life in Death

I was standing in a long line with a bunch of other souls for who knows how long moving forward very slowly to what I can only believe is a Judge because I have only heard 5 sounds since I have gotten hear, and every time I hear one of the sounds we move forward by 1 step. Know not all the souls are human as the one directly in front of me is a Monkey of some kind and the one in front of them is a Cat than I finally see a soul that looks like a human and so may more in front of them as far as my soul eyes can see.

You may be wondering why I don't try to run or speak cause as far as I can tell there's no one watching us, but I can't move at all unless one of the 5 sounds goes off. Eventually, I got the feel for when we move and was able to say something or I think I did as I realized I wasn't able to hear myself. But I didn't care as I was a major step for me, and like that an unknown amount of time later I was able to speak freely and I chose to sing. You heard me I said singing as I honestly don't really care what happens to me I just want to sing something even if I couldn't hear myself maybe someone else will.

After an even longer untold amount of time of singing, I was finally able to hear my own voice. I was almost able to shed a tear when I heard it as it had been so long I had forgotten what I sounded like. I then decided to sing until I was next to be judged, and I sang about everything I could remember, could see, and anything else I could think of.

Sentries went by and I was still singing. I sang songs about every soul I could see and the adventures each one would have in the next life and beyond. I sang songs of every anime and music I could think of in my past life. I sang in every language I could think of even made up a couple of my own.

I sang and sang until I had sung everything I could possibly think of, From the death of universes to the adventures of a lonely house cat. I wasn't singing just for me anymore I sang for the hopes and dreams of the souls that have gone before me and the ones to come after me. I mastered any time of thing you could think of as a song of every combination.

An even more uncountable of time later I could finally see the judge, I only had a couple hundred thousand souls before it was my turn. And when I saw a soul talk to the judge I would sing them good luck and what I believed their life was like.

In front of me as the Monkey that I had named Sun from the color of his soul fur. I sang many great tails and grandeur deeds of Sun throughout my time in hear. I was never able to hear what they talked about but I was sad and happy to see him go on to the next stage of life, and then it was my turn. And the first time since I started singing I stopped and was able to move more than my mouth and take a single step.

The Judge pulled up a scroll that I can only believe has my life on it and started reading it. "Well Normal ish live, many mental problems from past lives interfering with that life. Small positive karma for helping others on top of all that. Death by suicide because you couldn't hear anything anymore."

Then they looked up at me and back at the scroll and gave me a small smile.

"Normally that would be, a small-medium negative karma but you have been singing for the past 1,000,045,843 Googolplex Supereons and all honestly I liked it and so did many gods and goddesses before you such as the god you have so honestly named Sun which is quite funny as he was a Major ArcGod of the Sun Xels in the Multiverse RaunU8H-45 from the Universe Cram57F and the planet Phion."

I looked at the Judge in awe at what I just learned. As I saw many different colored souls in front of me so I had no idea that Sun may have been a God. "So does that mean that different colored souls represent their level?" What happened next surprised me as my voice sounded like I was singing again, but that wasn't the most surprising. That was the Judge laughing as form when the first time I saw them I could never see them show anything like emotions as they are right now.

"No! The soul changes color depending on a multitude of different factors that not even we have figured out. That's not to say we have no idea, it's just so different for every soul but at the same time uniform." The judge then pulled out another scroll and started reading through it and then turned to me and after a while of silence they closed the scroll and ask me a question and I immediately accepted.

I waved the judge goodbye and walked towards the door that magicly appeared to my left and the door automatically opened for me to walk through. I was ready to start my new journey even if I did have to pay a price and help a soul in a very difficult world and we would share a body until we found something to make another body. Not to say I didn't get anything as compensation and I don't mind not having a body as I can still take over it if need be.
