Can an empty heart be stirred?

Hundreds have tried, but Zeirenne Lynn’s heart belongs to the wild. To live in a small cabin at the top of a secluded mountain, unfettered by worldly matters for the rest of her life—that was her lifelong dream.

But gems buried deep, shied away from the world above, are treasures sought after. The most exquisite of pearls are pried out of their shells, the finest of jades harvested from their boulders. Such was Zeirenne Lynn’s dilemma. If people could leave her alone, and not ask her to be their apprentice, master, employee, boss, wife, princess, or colleague—life would be easier, but no.

Will she remain sequestered comfortably in a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow? Or will she fall into the hands of a narcissistic show-off, keen on displaying her inside a glass box for everyone to see?
