From MC's Perspective:

Julian was severely injured right now. If not for the power coming from burning the blood. He wouldn't be standing. He started to regret it now.
The lightning attack earlier was enough to half injure him. If he received a few more attacks, he would die for sure.
Despite having the bloodline power, he started regretting his decision.
Now, he has no other choice than to use that forbidden move. Once he uses that move he doesn't know what the result would be.
He was worried because he had already used the blood burning process. The bloodline power was not high now. If he uses that forbidden move it could cost his life.
There are chances of him dying before the opponent truly kills himself.
On the other hand, I saw the opponent get back on his feet because of the bloodline power. I didn't expect the Bloodline power to give this much strength.
