From MC's Perspective:
Inside the platform, we both were staring at each other.

The barrier started to cover the platform. The cheering noise coming from outside stopped.
When the barrier had covered the platform completely, the old man standing outside said, "Start the duel!"
Boom!
A purple lightning flash occurred before me. Stephen covered his fists with gray lightning and bolted towards me with unimaginable speed.
The lightning bolt flashes caused the shock wave to spread across the platform.
On the other hand, my perception was active. I could watch his every movement. I never expected Stephen's lightning to be a gray variant.
I was eager to test his lightning. The next second, I covered both of my fists with purple lightning.
Swoosh!
In the blink of an eye, he came closer to me with a wide grin on his face. Just as he was about to draw a punch at me,
I raised my fist to meet his. When both of our fists came into contact with each other,
