The elders in the hall were caught off guard. Well aware of the factions within the Quasi-God Domain, they each moved to handle their respective incoming transmissions.
Every one of them represented a specific faction, family, or clan.
Elder Freya went to check if there was any message from Quasi-God Jane's assistant. To her surprise, a transmission was waiting. She immediately stepped away to take the call in private.
Meanwhile, the other council elders were answering their own calls, wearing grave expressions-none of them had anticipated that the situation on the main battlefield would cause this much of an uproar.
Elder Freya was in the private room. She stood in front of the transmission mirror. The mirror then activated. The image of a black-haired middle-aged woman appeared.
The middle-aged woman was none other than the assistant of Quasi-God Jane.
She said, "Elder Freya, Master has a few instructions for you."
Elder Freya nodded.
