I slammed my hand into the wall next to the tied up monster, "tell us where your leader is and maybe we'll let you go." I glared down at the monster, causing it to shiver in fear.
Nizhoni looked over at Akari, "she's really good at this. Did you know she was this scary?"
Akari shook her head, "I'm still relatively new to the group so I'm still learning about how each of them act. John mentioned she gets really scary when she's angry though."
I stopped glaring at the monster and looked back at the two of them, "did he now?"
I rolled my eyes and put my attention back on the monster who was still shaking, "are you going to tell us what we want or will you just keep cowering in fear?" I brought my face closer to the monster so it could get a good long look in my eyes.
The monster gave me a weak grin, "You won't get a word out of m-" I slammed an icicle right next to his head, "the very top floor is where the throne room is. We have another commander who's currently in the lunchroom and is rumored to be stronger than the current head of this fort."
I stared blankly at how fast that monster was willing to spill everything he knew. I looked back at Nizhoni and Akari and they were just as baffled as I was.
"Alright well we saw someone here riding a horse… was that one of the people you spoke of?"
The monster nodded his head, "yeah that's the strong one! He often goes looking for strong foes in his free time."
"I see… well can you tell us where he is?"
The monster opened his mouth to say something but he moved his eyes to look at something next to me which I presumed to be Akari. The monster grinned, showing his razor sharp teeth to me.
"You won't need to look for him."
I turned around as fast as I could, just in time to see the monster we saw earlier approaching us from the other end of the hallway. Its arms were lengthy and seemed to wobble with each step. No, not just the monster's arms, its entire body seemed to wobble. It was almost as if it was made of… slime?
My body suddenly flinched as I raised my hand, "Ice Wall!" The ground before us shot upward just in time to block the monster's attack which was thrusting its arm all the way over here.
"Stay on guard! This monster is a slime and can stretch its body in any way it wants!"
Right as I finished shouting, the monster retracted its arm before slamming it into the ice wall I built. The impact sent shockwaves throughout the area as the wall was shattered to millions of pieces. As the smoke cleared, the monster continued its slow approach to the three of us.
The monster behind me spoke up, "you three don't stand a chance against him!"
I glared at the monster which broke his smile, "time to shatter your world then."
