Lin Yuan needed to know what the Goddess of Mercy's reason was for trying to win his favor so he would be able to know how he should approach her.
Although Lin Yuan came from two worlds, he had an extremely traditional mindset.
He was not opposed to the Goddess of Mercy trying to get on his good side because he knew what her use was.
She would be a great help to both Sky City and the Radiance Federation.
While Lin Yuan was thinking, the Goddess of Mercy waved her hand toward the table. Seven or eight aquamarine shells appeared on the table. The shells gleamed like pearls.
Lin Yuan used True Data to check on the shells and saw that they were not living feys but special containment equipment made from the fused fragments of the clamshells of the Spirited Sea Clam and powdered heavenly-maiden-grade elemental pearls. The fertilizer from the pure water element and spirit qi from the Spirited Sea Clam made it very suitable for storing precious water-elemental spiritual ingredients.
