Chapter 166 - Chapter 165 Testing out the stings

Bal held the sword, burning him in his hand, trying to push it back, but it burned through his first layer of skin. He hissed from the searing skin glaring down at her behind him twisting the blade around causing her to let out a sharp cry, he thrashed losing his grip on the blade,

"Formoir!"

Bal shouted his gaze caught the overwhelming fire that curled around Formoir, he pulled out his strings from him, catching into the fire. Bal could hear Formoir curse out in a language he couldn't define. Formoir was covered in fire when Avalon moved her sword to the side, digging to the side, cutting through him. Bal's eyes widened as he grabbed Avalon's hair from behind him, he pulled her up, seeing if he could pry her away from her blade. Avalon didn't make a sound, digging her sword in deeper as Bal shouted for Formoir,

"Take them off of us. Before you need to find a new host!"

It sounds more like a threat than a desperate plea. Formoir heard him pulling his small body out of Sandel's consuming fire, wrapping a web around Bal yanking him off the sword right when Avalon clashed through the air. where he resided. Ball hit the tree Formoir pulled them to, holding onto it breathing shallow, his vision blurring from it. The blood pouring from his wound was dried from the heat burned into his skin, when he felt webs at the edge of his wounds,

"Formoir i want the fire, I want that light…get your webs knitting my wounds, now" Bal commanded,

Formoir pulled his wound together and then dashed to the side, a line of fire blew past them, slashing through the tree Bal saw through the corner of his eyes, scorching silver hues in the iridescent fire, her hand tightening around the hilt of the blade preparing. Bal eyes slit with a rough growl he ordered Formoir,

"Get us back to the car Caill, Don tell them to distract, before I conquer,"

Formoir moved them, attaching strings to the trees, swinging him away from silver star and her archangel. Bal felt his arm limp when a string came from it, grabbing onto something thick and hardy, flings it behind them, catching a slash of her blade, Bal peered behind him, a log was thrown at her, splitting in two, the blade sent a streak of fire across them, the log gave them a gap to get away, Bal turned his gaze caught a glimpse of the orange hair that flew across the wind rushing towards them, sword drawn behind her with her angel the fire curled around them and reached for Bal,

"I will just hold you own before I can get you to your puppets," Formoir seethed and pulled them closer to the car with his web barely holding together in the heat of fire bristling behind them. Bal seethed, reaching his hand out causing stings to come from it, swinging his hand behind him, his strings like knifes cutting towards Avalon, Bal felt the pull from Formoir intensified, the wind pushed past them as of a rolling storm, the string he sent is cut clean, and Avalon passed through it, fire surging around her while she strides to them, her sword swings a line of fire came at them,

"Dammit Bal I told you to stop her," Formoir hissed, moving them aside, letting the fire move past the burning string, her gaze hauntingly staring at them from below, silver hues stared up at them, like the fire that came from her angel,

"I have she just cut through it," Bal seethed back his eyes slit with his hand tightened around Formoir, he let out a grunt, glancing back at Bal a small scoff came from the spider when he spoke callously.

"Holding back on her now will only make us seem so small compared to them Bal,"

Bal glared at him, his lip a sneer at Formoir's distasteful taunt, he then felt his wound pull together, stitching closed. Bal let out a pained cry, he touched the closed wound, and the blood still seeped from it, he felt this sudden pull from Formoir the growing feeling of Formoir. His strength is creeping in. the strings wrapped around his arms and legs, His eyes developed the cerulean glow reaching to Formoir, Bal reached out his arms letting go of Formoir he tithered himself to the tree descending to the ground a few paces from the car, from his capos standing not far from him, a few feet back. Bal peered at them and ordered,

"Take what I have given you and place it against her, I will repay her for the burning in my chest,"

Bal felt Formoir land on his arm there gaze both land on the descending fire hurdling towards them, he twitched his hand, and a grid of strings above Avalon appeared leaking of black power. Remnants of Formoir.Bal moved his hand at Don motion to Avalon, Don bark hues laced on her he let go of his rabbit letting it and it raced through the dark forest leading to the only light in it, Caille moved the wind rushed around her a callous smirk on her face when he moved her hand a cane that Bal had appeared covered in frost and ice she chuckled like an old cat, then a line of from followed into the forest next to the rabbit, but that when a soft voice is heard there, a cautious warning reached Bal and Formoir's ears,

"Avalon, this is all three of them. You are so certain of this?"

They heard a thoughtful hum mixed with the crackle of fire embers, a whistle from a blade cutting the air around them, not as sharp as the voice that came from the fire, from the archangel,

"Let's give them a hint of what I can do since he's so eager to have it,"

She was cocky and even sounded a bit arrogant, it wasn't it was a fact to Avalon, She stared at the three before scanning around the webs above her to the combination of powers barraging to her. Avalon hears Sandel's soft whisper in her ear,

"If you are sure I will lend to you,"

Avalon felt the fire surge around her gathering at her sword, Avalon's gaze flickered to the combination of the frost and darkness rushing to her, Avalon smirked her gaze squinted, her grip on the hilt tightened,

"This is just what I needed…a new reason to see if they are what you have warned me of Sandel," Avalon expressed

The rabbit mixed with the frost as a swirling construct launched at her, Bal observing the construct he lowered his hand sending the string cluster, Avalon twirled her sword from side to side building momentum, Bal confused let lose his sting putting them in free fall,

"I know you have more than a few sword trick silver flames…show th…"

Bal is interrupted, Avalon's scorching blade makes a triangle of flame burning what was above her. Avalon looked at him with a small barely noticeable smile, still twirling her blade, her gaze a bit blurred,

"I will grant you this. Just this time Bal," Avalon assured

She raised her blade above her head clashing it down on the flames above her sending it with viscous flash, it soared through the air scorching thought trees. It caught the construct made collision embers from the fire curls around it. The frost melted and the shadow moved back, the flames dwindled Callie let out a high laugh,

"This is your fire, this is your power oww silver star, how ridiculous" She mocked holding her cane, she glanced at Bal wanting to see his reaction, his dark hues met her ragerage infuseds hand in fist with his string tithered to him.

"Dont be so certain Callie she got me…she will be difficult," Bal hissed his face a snare, when Don let out a soft gasp, Bal and Caille turned to Avalon.

"She broke through,"

The fire raged before them a wall of unrestrained power ravaged towards them, Cailles eyes widen her cane lifted up a huge gust of wind and frost hit the flames, Bal scoffed watched his eyes peered at Formoir, his angel sit on his arm curled into a ball inspecting the carnage in front of him,

"You think she will see this tussle through" Bal asked,

Formoir peek at him, his eight eyes half lids, relaxed. Formoir moved snuggling into his suit sleeve,

"She will see it for the moment Bal but you already know," Formoir explained pausing for the fire darling down at them,

"How troublesome" Don huffed out, he tapped his foot making a wall of black shadows, mixed with Cailles frost clashing with Avalon's fire, it pushed against the wall making it start to dissipate falling into them Caille stared at it wide eyed her hand clenched around her cane to the point where the wood starts to break,

"She can't be this powerful Bal, she's just a child compared to us!" Caille shouted

She held her hands up making more frost to no change for the flames, Don whistled his rabbit appearing again in his arms, he stared at the fire intrigued almost impressed, his dark eyes peered at Bal,

"See you now. This is why you're interested in her?" Don insisted

Bal observed the flames falling around them with a grin. He tilted his head to Don with a whimsical look in his eyes, his arms crossed over his chest,

"That's why…shes a power not like I've seen and she has beaten Morrigan hating her guts more then me…its admirable," Bal answered

Bal felt the heat of the flames his wound pulsed with the memory of the blade, but it didn't burn him. It warmed him..as a warning. Bal looked ahead seeing that the flames fell around him and his capos, his grin grew. .

"She left it seems" Bal affirmed

Formoir scanned over the road side and the trees had the burns from the fire. But the flame itself is gone, Avalon and Sandel were indeed. Formoir grunted in displeasure. His little fire was gone.

"They're gone what a shame I would have liked to wrestle with them at full potential," Formoir complain

Bal stared at it, his eyes fixed on the scorched scene, he spoke abruptly, his chest wound burning bleeding.

"Get us to my house. I need some time to think on what she has shown us. Don see if the car is stable. if not get another car with my doctor in it…you have an hour"

Bal turned his back to the destroyed forest, a grin that never seem to leave stayed as he peered at Caille, his hand out to her,

"I need your frost to help my burns" Bal emphasized,

Caille scoffed sulked to him her hand lifted to his wound making a thick coating of frost over it, Bal hissed under his breath leaning his head back showing his neck,

"That's better thanks Caille" He purred feeling Formoir moving on his arm climbing to his hair, the oath they felt it in his suit jacket. Formoir chuckled in Bal hair his eight eye connected with Bals,

"It's only just the beginning of new lines to cross. Old matters with new faces. New soul that seem familiar, how exotic" Formoir giggled
