They had almost completed 80% of the way to the Primeape tribe. Till now, Axel and his team had yet to face any sort of challenges. Axel was happy with this trip. Koffing had evolved to Weezing with a passive move and he had gotten some valuable information from the leader of the Bisharp tribe.
Yet, what he didn't know was that this might be the most dangerous night for him and his team.
Instantly, they were surrounded by a group of Hawlucha tribe members. There were around 5 of them. This was dangerous. Axel was on a tight leash here. If these members were to report to the Hawlucha tribe, then they were basically dead. Axel knew how much Hawlucha tribe members hated them.
There was 1 pseudo-king rank Pokemon and 4 elemental rank Pokemon in the group.
Axel had Togekiss, Salamence, Aerodactyl, Staraptor, and Primeape on the team. All of them were at pseudo-king rank except for Staraptor. They were his best.
He cursed his luck for not bringing Lucario with him. If Lucario was here, it would have sensed these intruders from a mile away.
"All of you, remember the battle positions.", shouted Axel.
Weezing hovered in the air while Primeape went down from Salamence's back. But this was the biggest mistake that they could make.
BOOM
The ground on which Primeape landed was hollow. It directly went inside as a group of Donphan tribe came, who were hiding behind thick trees.
One of the pseudo-king rank Donphan used the move 'Earthquake' where Primeape had landed.
"Fuck!!! Adler, it is time to get serious. You and Gandiva will deal with Hawlucha tribe. Others will deal with Donphan tribe."
Due to Staraptor's new move and its mastery, it was idle to deal with flying type Pokemon. Meanwhile, Togekiss concentrated on the pseudo-king rank Hawlucha.
Axel didn't know the state of Primeape, but he could already tell that it was injured before the fight even began.
It slowly came out from the underground, and it was livid. Its eyes were completely red from anger.

It immediately used the move 'Beserker Hollow' to create a defensive stand. But that was not all. It also used all of its defensive moves to further improve its defense. The move 'Beserker Hollow'.

Donphan had a high defense stat, but the glowing fist of Primeape seemed to defy the laws of physics. The fist was pressed on the right side of Donphan, and it pierced inside of it and came from another end.
The pseudo-king rank Donphan was dead.
"What the heck? That is 'Rage Fist'!!", shouted Axel.
Axel didn't have time to look at its status page right now, but Primeape had improved a lot. It had learned the move required for its evolution.
The force of the attack had created wind pressure and affected other Donphans too. Their leader was already dead, so the group was in disarray.
But Primeape seemed to have suffered a lot of damage too, from the attacks. It kneeled down, pressing its chest, which was bleeding.
"Garry, take a rest. Salamance, deal with others.", said Axel.
Primeape immediately used the move 'Rest', which helped it recover a lot of health in a short amount of time. Within a few minutes, the battle on the ground and the battle in the sky were already over.
"Let's move fast. We might be tracked. We cannot delay any longer.", said Axel.
They were starting to move towards the Primeape tribe, but at that time, the ground started to shake, and Axel and the team heard a lot of sound.
"Crap, it is an ambush."
Even Axel didn't know how to get out of this situation now. If he had Charizard or Shedinja with him, this would have been child's play. But now, things were completely different.
"Hold your ground. We will have to battle them. There is no way out.", shouted Axel.
If they were to run away, they could not defend, and they also didn't know where the attack was coming from.
Then Axel saw what he had hoped not to see. He could not count the exact number of Hawlucha tribe members and Donphan tribe members, but it looked like almost all of their tribe members had arrived for revenge. There were around 200 Hawlucha tribe members and 200 Donphan tribe members.
This was not a normal battle, but it looked a lot like a tide battle.
Finally, a king-ranked Hawlucha and a king-ranked Donphan tribe came closer.
"Haha, just look at your face. You think that by killing so many of our tribe members, we will not do anything to retaliate. Then think again!!!"
Axel could hardly believe that these leaders had already learned human language. He was surprised at how they did it. But that was not the main concern now.
"Do you really want to make an enemy out of the Primeape tribe and the Bisharp tribe. Even though the Primeape tribe is not as strong as your tribe, you cannot compare yourself to the Bisharp tribe."
"Huh? Why would a powerful tribe like the Bisharp tribe care about your pathetic little existence? Now, let me claim your lives and honor my dead tribe members."
"You bring almost 400 Pokmeon with you to deal with only a handful of us, and you talk about honor?
If you want to fight, at least make it fair."
Axel had no idea what he was saying right now. He didn't know how to get out of his situation. He was far from the Primeape tribe and the Bisharp tribe. He only had 5 Pokemon with him, and one of them was already injured.
But he was not going out without a fight. He decided to make his stance here.
"Oh, you want a fair fight, huh? Okay, I will give you a fair fight."
Hawlucha leader and Donphan leader both signaled something to their tribe members, and immediately, 10 tribe members from Hawlucha tribe and 10 tribe members from Donphan tribe arrived to attack the group. They were supposed to deal with 10 of them, while there were only 4 of them capable of fighting.
Also, 15 of them were at pseudo-king rank, while only 5 of them were at elemental rank.
This was going to be a nightmare.
"Don't worry, we will get through this. For now, Garry, rest for something and send out a surprise attack when I say it. All of you, we will deal with them like we did before."
The battle soon started as the group surrounded by the tribe members of the Hawlucha and Donphan tribe looked at them.
This was the time when Togekiss showed why it should not be underestimated. With moves like 'Extrasensory', 'Dazzling gleam', and 'Fairy wind', it controlled the whole battle. It was also able to use moves like 'Thunder wave' to paralyze the Hawlucha tribe members.
They were starting to kill the members of Hawlucha tribe and Donphan tribe. The battle lasted for 10 minutes, and finally, Garry did a surprise attack to kill two of the Donphan tribe members, winning the battle.
Actually, it was not a battle but just the first round.
The leader of Hawlucha and Donphan tribe wanted to see the face of desperation when they killed this group. They had suffered a lot. Losing 8 pseudo-king rank members was not a joke for a tribe like them, but they knew that there would be sacrifices today.
"Commendable!!! You passed the first round. Now, what about the second?", said the leader of the Hawlucha tribe with an evil smile.
All of his Pokemon were tired. Not only were they travelling for hours, but they had also just defeated 30 Pokemon right now.
At that time, a voice came from the middle of the forest.
"Why don't you do the second round with me?"
Instantly, Hawlucha tribe leader and Donphan tribe leader looked towards the direction from which the sound came. From the bushes, a Bisharp with sharp swords covered all over its body came, taking small steps.
When Axel saw that Bisharp, he visibly relaxed. It was the leader of the Bisharp tribe. They had finally come to rescue him and his team. He knew that the leader would not move without any reinforcements.
Slowly, Axel saw 200 Bisharp that started to come from the forest. But these Bisharp were vastly more powerful as each of them was at least at pseudo-king rank. There must be around 50 of them who were at the king rank.
The tables had turned completely. Now it was time for Axel to smile.
"What are you doing? This doesn't concern you.", said the leader of Hawlucha tribe.
"But it does concern me. I will give you one last chance. I don't wish to annihilate two whole tribes. Go back and never come back to disturb Axel and his team.", said Oni, the leader of the Bisharp tribe.
The leader of the Hawlucha tribe gave a loud cry as it dove down to eliminate Oni. Its wings were coated with wind energy, and it was sharp as ever.
BOOOM
But nothing happened. The sharp wings coated in wind energy didn't even dent the chest of Oni. Axel realized that Oni was covered in steel energy. How could a defensive move be so strong? Both of them were at king rank.
Oni waved its swordy hands, and the leader of the Hawlucha tribe dodged it, but then Oni gave a loud roar, and 30 steel warriors came out of nowhere. Each of them had their separate gears, and all of them looked different with different personalities.
The battle erupted. Axel came to realize that each of these steel warriors had the power of a peak pseudo-king rank Pokemon.
"What kind of a monster is this guy? Is this really the power of a king rank Pokemon?", mumbled Axel.
Axel and the team didn't even have to do anything. The battle took around 20 minutes to be over. When the leader of the Hawlucha tribe and Donphan tribe died at the hands of Oni, the tribe members didn't have the unity and semblance to win the battle. Some of them ran towards their tribe, while some of them decided to attack in anger.
Axel realized that the leader of the Bisharp tribe had defeated more than half of the members of the Hawlucha tribe and Donphan tribe.
Axel felt lucky that he had made an ally with such a powerful Pokemon and such a powerful tribe. More than 50 king rank tribe members!!!
"I don't know how to thank you and the tribe for your help. You really saved our lives there.", said Axel with heartfelt gratitude.
"It is my job as your ally. Also, you are helping me deal with my problems, too. Besides, call me Oni."
This was the first time he had heard the name of the tribe leader of the Bisharp tribe.
"Axel, I want to meet with your Bisharp and confirm something.", said Oni.
Axel didn't have any problem with it. More than half of the Bisharp tribe members who came here in the battle went to the tribe, while others followed Oni and Axel to the Primeape tribe, where Bisharp was staying.
