First of all… I'm sorry.
I know. It's been a very long time since the last update. The last post was on March 19th, which means I've been completely offline for almost 5 months.
And honestly, seeing how long it's been makes me feel pretty guilty.
But before anything else, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who is still here, especially those of you who continued supporting me as paid members even when I wasn't posting anything.
There aren't many of you left, but every single one of you means a lot to me.
And if you've been wondering…
"Did he discontinue the novel?"
NO. Absolutely not.
I don't care how long it takes or how many obstacles I have to overcome. I intend to finish this novel. By hook or by crook.
So… where the hell have I been for the last 5 months?
There are two major reasons.
1. Real life decided to punch me in the face.
The biggest reason was that I lost my job again.
Finding a new job took me roughly three months. And once I finally got one, I had to move to a new place, settle everything, and adjust to an entirely new environment.
It wasn't exactly the best period of my life, and unfortunately, the novel ended up being pushed aside.
2. Patreon wasn't working the way I had hoped.
Even when I was posting five days a week, the income I was getting from Patreon was quite low — around $80 per month.
At the same time, writing a chapter usually took me around two hours every day.
I'm not saying this to blame anyone. In fact, I have to take a large part of the blame myself.
I wasn't consistent enough.
I wasn't as interactive with you guys as I should have been.
And, most importantly, I didn't do enough to make this Patreon worth supporting.
So I'm going to fix that.
The first problem is already solved. I have a job again, I'm settled in, and things are finally becoming stable.
Now I need to work on the second one.
And that's where you guys come in.
I need about two weeks to build up a respectable stock of advanced chapters and, more importantly, properly plan out the upcoming parts of the story.
I don't want to come back, post a few chapters, and disappear again.

The thing that amazed Axel was the stats of Weezing. All of them were already S rank. So, in a month, it might even reach rare rank. Some of the moves had been added, and these were basically shiny Koffing moves. None of them had reached level 40, but that was not the problem for Axel.
The most interesting thing was that it had gained a passive move.
'Why are my Pokemon gaining passive moves as if it is the most normal thing? Is it due to the new place? Well, it is not a problem for me. I hope that this passive move is not another bad mutation like Lairon.'

2 Heads: The user has 2 heads, 2 brains, and 2 energy storing places. There is always a leader among the 2 heads, but the leader could be changed based on their overall capabilities. When one head is sleeping, another one could take control of the body.

'Ok, this changes things. The passive move could be developed to the level of gods.'
In a single body, there were not only 2 heads but 2 brains and 2 energy storing places. There seemed to be a rule to always have a leader. At least that was a good thing.
But the leader could be changed too if the current leader didn't perform well. Currently, his Koffing was the leader. The most broken ability of this passive move was that while one head was sleeping another one could take control of the body.
So, with 2 energy storing places, if one is asleep, the other one could train the body and they become stronger. This also meant that Weezing could train 24 hours a day. But Axel didn't believe that it was possible. Because even if everything had been divided, it had a single body, and a single body could not train for 24 hours.
"I will have to figure out how to maximize its power."
Before, Axel didn't think that Koffing would rise up so much and even gain a passive move when it evolved to Weezing. But now, the plan had completely changed.
Axel wanted to send a message to his home and for that, he needed 2 Pokemon with special abilities. One was a Pokemon that could hide them and the other one that could deal with the poison.
The first one that he had selected was actually Lucario. Lucario was quite good at detection. It had leveled up 'Detect' and upgraded it quite a few times. Of course, it was not on the level of observation Haki where one could see the future, but it was still a formidable move when used at the right time.
If it could detect with such proficiency, Axel believed that it could also hide them. Another Pokemon he selected for clearing the poison was actually Togekiss. Weezing might have been the best choice, but it was only an uncommon rank Pokemon. It would not reach pseudo-champion level in just two years.
But its passive move changed his thinking. Yes, Axel was actually thinking of ranking up Weezing to pseudo-champion rank in two years. Would that even be possible? Even he didn't know, but if Weezing could do it, then it would be perfect.
The third Pokemon that he chose was Staraptor. Its passive move 'Struggle king' could let it do practically anything.
Then all of a sudden, it hit him. If it could practically create any move if it desires, didn't it mean that it could also create some moves from other animes and stories that he knew about?
'That could be possible. Let me discuss that with it.'
"Gandiva, I have something to ask you. Since your passive move lets you create any move, I have some idea to share."
Axel had a lot of ideas, but first, Staraptor had to build a solid foundation. The first basic idea was for Staraptor to create the move called 'Shadow clone'. This was one of the moves from the Naruto world.
This move had high potential. This was basically the god like version of 'Substitute'. With this, Staraptor's training speed would increase to the next level.
Of course, it was easier said than done. Even though it could create any move, there must be a logical way to do it. If it cannot find a logical way to do it, then creating this move would be impossible.
Axel started to share his theory on how to create a move. In the Naruto world, the ninjas would just use some hand signs and create a shadow clone. But Axel knew that it was not realistically possible here.
When the clone is created, the clone would not only share energy from the user, but everything that the clone did, the user would experience it and learn from it. So, it meant that there was clearly something that separated a part of the user's soul.
Separating a consciousness was something that Axel's Pokemon had done and achieved, but the soul was a different matter.
Fortunately, there was a soul art that Axel had which could help Staraptor in creating this move.
This soul art had the power to strengthen the core of the soul and make it stronger, but that was its additional perk. The real function of this soul art was to ensure that even if the soul was divided multiple times, it would attract each other with the user's command, and it could combine all of them in an instant.
This would eventually make the soul even stronger.
Of course, this soul art was extremely hard to learn and master. Axel gave the soul art to Staraptor and told it how it should train. He didn't want any accidents to happen.

After resting for a couple of hours, the team was ready to move to the Primeape tribe. Before going back, Axel asked a final question to the leader of the Bisharp tribe.
"At one point in time, you were a part of a nightmare rank tribe with multiple god rank Pokemon in your tribe. So, tell me, what is the difference between a master rank Pokemon and a god rank Pokemon?"
Now, Axel had not expected an answer because such a thing was top secret. Axel had met some god rank Pokemon, and when he had asked these questions, they would just tell him that it was a long way for him and he would know about it eventually in the future. But they never gave any information.
Of course, such knowledge was very precious and he didn't expect an answer. Actually, he was not even sure if the leader of Bisharp knew about it.
But today seemed to be his lucky day.
"The only difference between a master rank Pokemon and a god rank Pokemon is something called 'Resolve'."
"Resolve?"
"Yes, Resolve. It is the epitome of your willpower. A master rank Pokemon's willpower should not only be undoubtful, but it also must be refined to the peak. By doing so, a master rank Pokemon would be able to physically manifest its willpower in its own way. That is called 'Resolve'.
The power, uses, and shape of 'Resolve' would depend solely on the master rank Pokemon. It could be a sword or a shield. It could be something eternal or humanoid. It could be anything.
The power of a god rank Pokemon would depend on how strong its 'Resolve' is."
"And how do you create this 'Resolve?"
"That I don't know. It is said that once a master rank Pokemon reaches that stage, they would know how to do it by themselves."
"Why are you helping me so much and giving me such secret information? I need to know this so that I can trust you.", said Axel.
"Since you have been thinking of helping me in getting some of the last remains of my tribe, I want to help you. You have no idea how much I wanted revenge when my tribe was destroyed, but I don't have the power to do it."
This was valuable information that he had just gotten. This thing called resolve sounded like Conqueror haki of one piece and 'Stands' from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. But currently, he had to think about how to improve the directions of his Pokemon.
Yet, that was also far off from where he was. Right now, his short-term goal was to make an impact on the upcoming competition.
"Guys, we have to be careful. Now we don't have the protection of the Bisharp tribe.", said Axel.
Currently, they were moving to the Primeape's tribe, and it was during nighttime. Night was the perfect time to move during these times. Almost all of the Pokemon would be inside their tribe, and they would be safe.
Or so they thought….

Pokemon POV.
"Leader… Leader... Leader…"
"Huh? What happened? Why are you waking me up right now? It better be important."
"Leader, the group that had killed so many of our tribe members they are currently in the wild, and they look unprotected."
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yes, we are sure. The guards just noticed them."
"Good, inform the Donphan tribe. They are the ones close to us. We will strike them right now."
The informant moved as fast as they could. Axel and the team had no idea that they were being targeted right now.
Within an hour, all the fighting members of Hawlucha tribe and Donphan tribe had already gathered, and they were now ready to strike.
Both of the leaders looked determined, and they were ready to go for war.
Axel had not realized that this might be the most dangerous trip that they were going to experience.
