Axel was the referee again for the battle. Both of them stood just 100 meters apart from each other.

"Start the battle!!!"
Both of them started with 'Swords dance'. Bisharp's eyes glowed after seeing PawniardA using this move. The move had more finesse than before and was also executed faster.
After using the move, PawniardA didn't rush to attack Pawniard even though it executed the move faster. No. It used 'Agility' to increase its speed. By this time, Pawniard was also ready to attack. Both of them rushed towards each other to attack.
Pawniard's sword glowed as it tried to peirce PawniardA, but PawniardA dodged the move effortlessly and then jumped while revolving and then slashed Pawniard with a 'Sucker punch'.
'Sucker Punch' was a priority move. Even though the concept of priority move didn't exist in the real world, the move was swift. The move slashed onto the shoulder of Pawniard, and it backed away.
This time, PawniardA used 'Iron defense', taking advantage. Pawniard could not believe that PawniardA was besting it in a sword battle. Its arrogance/ bravery was being tested. It rushed towards PawniardA and tried to slash its sword. PawniardA decided to parry the attack, and it succeeded in doing so.
Since PawniardA had just recently started learning the new swordsmanship style, it was not so proficient in it. Pawniard was more experienced in this field. So, Axel had told him to finish the battle as soon as possible and not fight these Pawniard in a sword battle.
It was not confident in dogging the attack once again. So, it decided to parry the attack. The reason for doing it was simple.

PAWN!!!!
PawniardA had used the move 'Thunder Wave' and now Pawniard was paralyzed. Since they were just common rank Pokemon, they didn't have a good amount of resistance to status moves.
As it got paralyzed, Pawniard took advantage and used the move 'Lash Out'. The power of this move depended on the amount of frustration that the Pokemon was feeling. The disappointment that PawniardA was holding till now was enormous.
BANG!!!
It flew back from the impact and crashed to the ground.
"Pawniard is the winner!!!", shouted Axel, raising one hand.
This was just a normal battle, not a battle to the death. So, the battle was already over.
'Thunder wave' was the new move that it had learned recently, and it had come in handy. Since it was just a common rank Pokemon, Axel didn't want to overload it with a heavy moveset, but 'Thunder Wave' was essential.
Its hidden power typing was 'Electric', and paralysis was crucial in battle.
"PAWN!!! PAWNIARD!!!!"
Shouted PawniardA from the top of its lungs. It had finally proven itself. It had come and won. It looked towards other Pawniards in the crowd and gave an evil smile. It was taunting them.
After that, it started to speak, "Pawn… PAnnnn. Pawniard!!!!"
It was challenging for the other Pawniard, saying that none of them could defeat it. The stage was electrified by all the excited Pawniards from the crowd. They not only wanted to get up on stage and show this asshole who was the boss, but they also wanted to prove the dignity of their tribe.
But today, everyone had a hint of respect for PawniardA. All of them were warriors. They knew how hard it was to lose so badly and come back only to win against the same opponent.
Another Pawniard came for battle. It also looked strong. Both of them were ready for the battle.
"Are you both ready?", asked Axel.
Both of them nodded their heads.
"Start the battle!!!"
Pawniard rushed towards PawniardA with determination. As it came near PawniardA, it slowed its speed and slashed its sword. PawniardA tried to dodge it, but its shoulder got scratched by the sword.
Pawniard took advantage of the strike and tried to strike it again, but PawniardA was not stupid like before.
BOOM!!!
With a powerful explosion, Pawniard flew to the opposite side as it crashed to the ground. This was 'Dark Pulse'. A special type of move that it had learned and leveled up to level 40 just for these scenarios.
It knew that its swordsmanship was not as refined as others. It had only started to train on it for a couple of months. So, what could it do if the opponent successfully attacks it? 'Dark pulse' was the answer.
It had upgraded the move, focusing on speed. This not only gave PawniardA a breather but also dealt damage to the opponent.
With this, PawniardA had the advantage. It rushed towards Pawniard and used the move 'Sucker Punch'.
BANG!!!
After a few attacks, PawniardA won the battle again.
"PAWn… PAWNIARD!!!!"
PawniardA gave a mighty roar, looking at all of them with a hint of a sarcastic smile. The dignity of Pawniard of the tribe had gone down. Two of them had tried to bring it down, but it had still been able to hold on.
PawniardA might not have refined swordsmanship, but it had trained on its stats and moveset very seriously. With the help of the system and the effect of the new realm, it developed extremely fast. The only reason it had not evolved was due to a specific reason.
Another Pawniard came to challenge. This one looked very strong, and from the constant chant from the crowd, it was safe to say that this was the strongest Pawniard of the tribe.
The effect of 'Agility' and 'Swords Dance' was already over. It could have stalled the fight before and used those moves again.

PawniardA didn't have the time to dodge the attack. So, it parried it with a sword.

Both of their swords collided with each other, and PawniardA looked to be at a disadvantage.
Knowing that it might not win the strength battle, PawniardA stepped back and used the move 'Thunder wave', but Pawniard had seen this trick before. Before the move hit it, it dodged it with precision and then used 'Swords Dance'. PawniardA also took advantage and used the move 'Agility'.
While Pawniard focused on attack stat, PawniardA focused on speed stat. It did it without hesitation. This was all because of Axel.
'Remember Pawniard, in the battle against strength and speed, speed always wins.'
This was something that Axel had said. After using the move, Pawniard rushed towards PawniardA, trying to use the move 'Sucker Punch', but PawniardA used the move 'Dark Pulse' to defend itself.
Both of their moves collided with each other, creating a spark. They fought with their swords for some time. Common rank Pokemon had limited stamina, and PawniardA had been fighting for quite some time now. So, it needed to finish the fight as soon as possible.
It tried to use 'Thunder Wave' a couple of times, but the moves were dodged. It was time for it to show its trump card.
SLASH!!!!
PawniardA slashed its sword, and a yellow sword wave came out and went towards Pawniard. Pawniard was able to dodge the attack, but then, another 3-4 yellow sword slashes came, and one of them hit Pawniard. PawniardA took advantage of it and used the move 'Thunder Wave' to paralyze Pawniard. After that, it was just a matter of a few attacking moves, and the battle was over.
As soon as it defeated Pawniard, it started to glow in dark and grey light. It was evolving. Yes, this was the condition for its evolution. It would have to defeat three Pawniard in a row to evolve.
All of them gasped after seeing the evolution process. It was a monumental moment for anyone to evolve into Bisharp, and an outsider had achieved this feat by defeating three of their best. This outsider was worthy of respect.
Axel was also looking at the evolution with a wide smile. Pawniard would become his main attacking force in the future. The ability of Kingambit was too good for tide battles. Things were moving as he wished. With his calculation, he believed that most of his Pokemon would rank up to king rank in the next 4 months.
