After looking at the muscular and intimidating security guard Eun Ae felt panic rising in her mind, though she hadn't done anything wrong but still due to her being unable to come up with a way to explain her actions was making the situation worse.
'Come on! You can do it...Just tell them your reasons of crossing the line and voila! They will let you pass for the interview' She kept thinking to herself. But still felt hesitant. Seeing her nervous expression some fans smirked and some felt trump at her misery. They were hard-core fans of Eternal wings and they won't let some crazy fan to mess up with their 'oppas'.
Finally Eun Ae calmed down under the guard's strict gaze and said,
" I think you are misunderstanding here something, sir."
Many peoples around raised their brows and many rolled their eyes. They all were thinking that she was denying her intentions to get away from the situation.
" I am here for the interview " with this said Eun Ae felt less anxious and looked at everyone present firmly like a self righteous heroine. She, for the first time in her life, felt a sense of achievement after saying her purpose in front of the crowd. Since her childhood no one among her peers had tried to listen to what she has to say or sometimes, she hadn't dared to speak out her thought infront of everyone especially in the crowd. This felt good to her. It was like she was overthrowing her mental shackles and emerging as a new Eun Ae. Many would think that 'what's the big deal about this' but for her it was the first step she had taken in the way of changing her introvert personality.
But the fans around her still had a scornful look plastered on their face, if not, their disdain for her seemed to be intensified. It was because they were thinking that she was making an excuse to barg inside the company. Since morning, there were handful of fans who had actually tried this trick to get in so it was no wonder that even after hearing her reason their suspicions didn't fade away but instead it became as intense as steel.
"What a joke! Look at the another shameless lass saying that she is here for the interview!"
"Hahaha! So funny! If she can pass the interview then I can slap myself with my shoes!"
" Interview? With your skills? From where does these delusional peoples are coming?"
" I am suddenly starting to feel ridiculous!"
The crowd started exclaiming in disbelief as if they can't believe that someone can stoop so low. Ofcourse the security guard too was looking at her with suspicion as he has been facing such fans every time they appear. But still, he didn't take the action on her immediately and asked for the proof to support her sentence. Everyone around were watching them as if they were watching some entertaining show and felt eager to see Eun Ae make fool of herself. Even the guard felt that she would make up some story to escape the trouble, the same way as many fans before had done. He was giving her a leeway for her to speak truth and get out from there. If she keeps on insisting to go for the interview then he would take some strict action on her.
However to his and everyone's surprise she took out her phone and searched for something, after a moment she showed her phone screen to the guard where a familiar notice and QR code was displayed. The guard was buffled and the jaws of the fans who were accusing her dropped to the ground. Everyone was overcome with disbelief for the nth time today. Some sensible fans even started feeling ashamed. But it wasn't their fault because the time to enter the building for the interview has already exceeded and no one thought that any interviewer would be late for such an important event. Some felt dissatisfied as they thought that she was late because the interview was not her priority. All in all many thought that she was careless and wasn't qualified to take part in the interview.
The guard came to his senses after some time and regained his composure as he said to her sternly " Miss the time for attending the interview has already exceeded so I am sorry to say but you are not allowed to go in."
His words said in monotone hit Eun Ae hard as she felt her confidence sinking as well as her life, she started feel her hopeless old self emerging again. Though she had expected such response, after hearing his words so clearly she felt her mind go blank for a long while. She was starting to get tearful and pleaded the guard to let her in but the guard denied her firmly. The people around who had a bad impression of her felt gleeful but some of them felt sympathy for her. Eun Ae thought to herself 'That's it! Her life was doomed to be miserable!'
The guard was about to make her leave when everyone heard a new pair of footsteps approaching them. The man arriving at the scene looked quite ordinary while holding a phone in his hand and talking with a serious expression. Though the ordinary appearance of the man, the strict guard immediately softened his expression and approached that man with amicable smile. When the guard went near that man, he saw that the man was glancing in Eun Ae's direction and saying,
"So, she is the one?"
This sentence made the guard's sturdy body go stiff...
