Chapter 13 - Journey Part 1 Death of Someone

.

Next Morning-

.

Bulma woke a little later than Kakarot. Looking in the bathroom revealed he used it at least. With breakfast currently resting on the table still warm at that. Turkey bacon, pterodactyl eggs, and bread by the looks of it.

"Even a cup of coffee!" Bulma sat down and enjoyed her breakfast. "So much better than the preserved capsule food!" Eating it, she felt her energy increase just a little. "What!?"

Having learned to Sense energy from training with Chichi and Tights, it was an odd sensation to feel from eating food. The meal was prepared from ingredients stored in Kakarot's Internal Space. Which bathed them in his Ki & Magic over time.

"Everything ok?" Kakarot was by the window making sure she was ok. He didn't pick anything up on the scouter so it would be bad if someone just snuck in. "Don't like the food?"

"No, it is great!" Bulma said quickly. "Better than the stuff last night!" Calming herself down, she was wondering why he was so dirty. "Did you start working on the hovercycle?"

"No," He shook his head in dismay. "it is your bike, I wouldn't do that without your permission. I was trying to build my own is all. Out of created parts in case there is a problem later I will need a way to escape."

While working on it, he read the cultivation manual. Soul Refining Art, now when he meditates, he had a method to calm the disturbances to his Spirit easier. Cutting the time down while improving it for the future.

'When I develop the Majin Magic more and Timebreaker Magic I should have a more guaranteed success. Towa is currently studying all the material she received so their is that to look forward to.' In his hand was what Rexford called a Vortex Enhancing Pill. 'The increase to my Spirit is really good, if I had this years ago I would have recovered already.'

The energy inside the bLack Gold Pill only worked on that part of him. Which was defintely ok in his book. Considering the number of future targets he had to deal with, a spirit battel would be difficult with how far he was behind compared to others.

Driving out, the two were making good time. With Bulma helping so much with his hovercycle, Kakarot ended up giving her a Purple Scouter. Another way for them to communicate. The contacts only consisted of a few people stored in the memory.

Bulma wanted to use it to help improve her Dragon Radar and other technology. Which Kakarot was all for if she would share the technology with him as well of course.

Which he found out she defintely messed with Namekian Technology at one point. As they traveled, Bulma was appalled at the Ki training he did. Calling it Ki Tag, she declined to do it herself but didn't mind firing Ki blasts to increase the difficulty for him.

Her aim was so good and she knew how to time the shots just right when Kakarot was going to knock the return blast back. Having over 6 Ki Blasts going, Bulma watched his skill in person.

"Defintely a crazy one." Her smile was genuine at seeing another scientist taking the martial path as well. "With that Gravity Compression spell going, he really takes his job as a Champion seriously."

Bulma was slowly building up in her head to think of ways to improve this training. Besides adding more Ki blasts, she would bring up he needed to add unexpected attacks into it.

Making it into town, Bulma noticed he didn't have any healing like Chichi. Which meant hurting himself with extensive training put him in a constant state of stress. This couldn't be good for the heart.

"This village is a little odd." Stopping her cycle, was the first thing she did. The second was pulling out a wrist-mounted gun. "It can't be deserted that's for sure."

"It's not." Kakarot did the same. Grateful for the wrist-mounted gun she gave him. Nothing as soothing as having a firearm to use. Helped save on energy and magic consumption for one. "Picking up quite a few people in the homes."

A few cycles with the scouter defintely had the place full of people. Bulma switched the settings as she picked them up as well now. adjusting to the different features wasn't to difficult.

The two knocked on the closes doors. The name Sherman Priest was on the door. No one answered despite the calling out done by the two.

"Well, it's locked." Kakarot moved away. A few whimpering inside the place was not very reassuring. "They don't want to come so I guess we just move on." Bulma went back to her cycle getting ready to get on.

A few people peeping out seeing a teen female thought the situation was odd. Seeing the Capsule Corp symbol, they sighed in relief. Having heard a little about the group traveling the planet.

"Excuse me," The door opened as a balding old man came out. An axe in hand as a little girl hid behind a table watching. "you don't work for Lord Oolong do you?"

Kakarot wore his Saiyan Armor and Bulma had Capsule Corporation on most of what she wore.

"Oolong?" Bulma had no idea who that was and neither did Kakarot. An image came to mind but nothing really substantial. "Never heard of him."

"Hooh!" The people started to give a little cheer in happiness.

"They are not with that bastard!"

"It is defintely to early for him to show up!" An old woman said thoughtfully.

"So who is this Oolong you are talking about?" Bulma was curious now.

"Oolong is a fearsome shapeshifting monster who lives in this area!" Sherman said as he held his daughter protectively. "No one knows what his true form really is!"

"He comes around in various disguises taking away our daughters. Having captured several of the girls over the village."

"That's pretty messed up." Kakarot didn't like the sound of that.

"He says if they try to run away or fight back, he'll eat all of us in retaliation."

"We'll take care of this situation for you." Bulma looked to Kakarot who agreed. "In return, have you seen a ball about this big with some stars on it?" Making the Dimension of the Dragonball, she was not going to actually take out any that she had on her person.

An old woman in the group blinked a few times before going to get it. The other villagers just thought it was odd anyway. That one was looking for something like that.

They were told it was an artifact that gathers evil energy. Which helped the people want to get rid of it really quickly. If not, it would just be stolen and replaced with a replica.

"Here ya go." Grandma passed it over. It was the six-star DragonBall. "My grandmother found it years ago."

"Should we go undercover?" Bulma looked at Kakarot who shook no. "Then how are we going to do this then?"

"When he comes, we can subdue him. Threatening will work. Or I just use magic." Kakarot clicked the scouter as he looked around. Searching for clusters of people in groups that were not in the actual town. "There isn't anyone in the area stronger than us. So you could beat this Oolong and get the kids taken or I can do it."

"I will get the girls back." Bulma tapped the scouter resting her sights on a place not to far from the current location. Checking the map to double-check, there should be a house that way. But it was pretty old. So it might have something else by now. "I will take a few villagers to convince to come with."

With the simple plan made, Kakarot waited by his hovercycle tinkering with it. Channeling his Aspect of History, he thought it odd the images were blurry and the information didn't stay constant.

It wasn't long before a pig nose oni came around. Actually wearing a suit and carrying a bouquet of flowers. It would be charming if it wasn't so.. creepy that he kidnapped kids.

"Lord Oolong is back!" The pig oni shouted. Looking around for his prize he was sure the villagers would offer up. "I've come for my sweet bride!"

"Not that strong at all." Kakarot checks the power level that revealed a power level of 12. Magic at 35. "Hey, hand over the children you kidnapped and turn yourself in. I promise it is better than the alternative."

"Humph!" Oolong turned to look at the person before chuckling mentally. "So traveling mercenary thinks he can defeat me?" The armor he wore and the wrist gauntlet defintely painted that kind of image. 'It was only a matter of time before they hired someone I suppose, will have to fix those attitudes later!'

Wristgauntlet raised, he fired a precise shot at the eyes. The rounds boosted by his magic were quite deadly.

*Tat! Tat! Tat! Tat!* Four shots went right into the head of Oolong. Instantly smoke appeared as he changed into a robotic automaton.

"GUAHAHA!" Oolong boasted. "There's no way the all-powerful Lord Oolong would be taken down that easily!" It was a bluff, however. The damage to his transformation ate away his time limit faster.

Kakarot just stared at him. The magic bullets were also meant to help him understand and Adapt to the Magic he saw. Another transformation would help even further, so he decided to take it a little slower.

"Then best, I try something to melt you then!" With a quick dash, Kakarot's right hand burned with ki that produced fire around it. 'Let's try the completed Burning Phalanax on him!' Right as he was about to deliver an uppercut to the chest cavity, Oolong turned into smoke.

*Poof!* He turned into a large bull. With his opponent in the air a little, Oolong was going to deliver a rear kick before leaving. Giving a buck, he missed! He didn't know his opponent could fly!

'After I get out of here, I will think of a plan to crush you and punish those villagers!' Thinking the thoughts so strongly was not good.

'This filthy little..' Kakarot bristled in anger. Eyes radiating malice.

"Damn you!" Feeling the heat coming to his back, Oolong started to run. His time limit was up already. "No!" Falling forward, a short pig man in some old military clothes rolled forward. Hitting against a wall, he went to pleading. "Ok, how.."

Kakarot didn't need to hear anything else. His fist struck forward killing the shapeshifting pigman in one go. Burning his body, magic spread out from within before scattering into nothing.

"Well, that was quick." Checking over his magic a little, he felt the scattering magic enter him. 'The concept of the spell has been learned but will take way to long to do this way. At least one less kidnapper in the world.'

"He is gone just like that." A villager that saw the whole thing said in awe. "At least you gave him the chance to surrender before fighting him."

"Yeah, it was the least I could do. It was better for him to go to jail, if it was an option. But considering his abilities to, I doubt he would have ever stood on trial before escaping." Kakarot checked the scouter for Bulma's location. She was already on her way back. "Did you get them?"

"Oh yeah!" Bulma said cheerfully. "They may have been kidnapped, but these brats were living the life of luxury. Two of them were drinking alcohol while one was just doing yoga. Their parents were worried their hearts out and the kids were living the high life."

It was both funny and sad.

"Well, he was taken care of. Find anything in the house?"

"Didn't search it. It is actually an entire estate." Bulma understood what taken care of meant. After speaking with him while traveling, she understood he was not more than a two-chance kind of person. "After dropping them, we can go back and check."

.

Oolong's Estate-

.

After speaking with the villagers of Aru Village, they were ok with packing up and moving to Mount Pazou. The outskirts in isolated regions would not keep the people safe if someone else like Oolong came around.

Bulma did the convincing since Capsule Corp was helping to do the move. One of the plans developed by Chichi to help unify the land. To many bandit leaders, existed and a way to many villages were taken out by the Red Ribbon Army.

Checking the place over, the two found a few key things out. Apparently, Lord Oolong was not older than Bulma and was technically a teenager. But had a record of crimes under him.

"Octagon Village, a place full of perverted pigs." Bulma was looking at the net report about the place. Quite a few people had come across the place and had a lot to say about it. "Not much lose of life if Oolong was even kicked out of the place."

"Yeah, expelled from kindergarten for abducting a teacher. Then later attending the Shapeshifting Academy where he was known for being a thug." Reading the papers over, Kakarot stopped on the dismal paperwork. "Finally expelled from there for stealing the teacher's underwear."
