Love Hurts
Claire was pausing and instead stared at the dashboard of the luxury car.
"I want to go home. I'm tired." Claire spoke in a shallow and barely audible tone. But Joona knew what Claire said. He nodded shortly after that, and with a single sigh, Joona pressed the starter button and started driving again.
They did not speak to each other along the way home, just silent, occasionally Claire holding her stomach. And Arjoona could only glance. He knew that his baby was very active in the past month. Claire sometimes had to catch her breath to be more comfortable even though she wasn't.
Arjoona could not stand to see her, who often moved because of discomfort. He finally reached out a hand and placed it on Claire's stomach. Arjoona didn't say anything, and she just let Joona calm the baby during the trip back to Claire's apartment. Joona's hand remained on her belly bump while the other held the steering wheel until they arrived in front of the apartment.
