"Arrogant jerk"
she breathed out an insult, something which left me a little surprised and a bit angry. None of my employees ever had guts to speak like that about me behind my back. they'd only complain or thank God that I didn't bash them too harshly.
But the way she said it... was different with confidence and Fury. from the minute she stepped in, I could smell her vanilla and lavender scent, must be her shower gel with a tint of daisies it was a bit overwhelming, she also looked tired, it was evident by the way her heart beats rates were hasty. she's interesting, I kind of wanted to see her often to push her buttons. I remembered when I was on the line with the receptionist I heard Ms Andrews that must be her surname.
I tune my ears to hear her heels clicking and a 'ding' sound. she must've taken the elevator to the ground floor. Somehow this girl distracted me out of the burning I was feeling.
How dare she insults me?, what was Charlotte thinking. I'm not going to let this pass, just because I've slept around with her doesn't mean she has to forget she's addressing her superior. her Alpha. I'll have to go punish her. make sure no one even thinks to imitate her.
I walk to the elevator pressed the ground floor, out of the lobby to my private parking spot. I unlock the black range rover sports latest design, I drive out of the hotel to the roads, winding away like a mad man.
After the third corner I saw the same girl walking fast but she's also alarmed. the alleys are not safe for her to walk alone, was about to speed past her but I thought of every negative scenarios she might encounter and I curse myself for being so weak. I step on the break making the tires screech loudly, she jumped in shock as she twisted her head to look behind her, as I stepped down from the car, she bent down removing the heels one after another.... Was she serious???? and she sprinted Fast like very fast.
I crossed my arms against my chest, she could run very fast but not faster than a ware wolf. I went after her without Changing and I caught up to her in no time.
I grabbed her waist, lifting her of the ground to my shoulder, she had to be so hard to start fighting it.
"Let go of me, you horny jerk!!, I'm warning you.. if you don't put me down right now... you'll need to go to the infirmary to check your family Jewels"
I didn't bother replying to her empty threats I went to the passenger door to open it and she began crying, the tough facade was gone.
"Please don't hurt me.... just let me go, Please I was just going home. I'm not that type of a girl"
I threw her in the seat and locked the door, I entered the driver's seat and she was fussing with the handle her black hair fell to cover her face. I raised my hand to tuck them away she might have sensed my hand.
"Don't you dare touch me...!!!! open the door, or I'm calling the police!!" she shuffled on the seat to open her purse. dashing out her phone she began typing on it. I snatched it out of her hands throwing it somewhere in the back seat.
"Your address?" I spoke firmly, she raised her eyes to meet mine and her mouth fell open she squinted closer as if to convince her self. her arm went to cover her mouth instantly.
"Mr Enzo...??"
"Your Address" I spoke impatiently clearly showing the disinterest.
"I.. it's... third Street fourth Avenue" she said stammering from what I guess is embarrassment. I repeated the address to the GPRS and it led me to where she was going.
I stopped the car when she told me to, she began unbuckling the seat belt, she opened the door stepping down the car.
"Thank you, for dropping me off sir, and I'm sorry I behaved that way... I wasn't aware it was you... " she pushed the door closed after I didn't reply. I lowered the mirrors as I watched her get inside the apartmentent. I started the engine about to leave when I stopped.
"Who was that dropping you this time of the night?"
"it's a fellow employee.. mom, he.. was heading this way so he gave me a lift...." Why was she lying.. this conversation was a bit interesting to eavesdrop on.
"Do you think I'm stupid?????? come here!!!!..."
This didn't sound good...
"Mom it's not what you think I promise....!!!"
"That's a very expensive car!, your hiding something. Bella don't you try my patience"
So she's Bella?... This Bella is getting more and more interesting by the minute. I wanted to go In and talk to her mother but I decided against it, I might make things worse, besides I had my own things to take care of. I speed the car away from the apartment with Bella's sniffing fading away.
I pull over at the warehouse, more of a pack house to others. this is where I changed form for the first time when I was fifteen, I didn't know what was wrong with me at that time. I feared and hated myself for being what I was. My adopted parents, were normal human beings and I was not sure what I became but it was clear that I was a monster.
I used to run to this warehouse every full moon to change afraid that I might hurt my parents. They loved me so much, I couldn't bring myself to tell them my ugly truth, afraid they won't accept it. I searched in the internet about my transitions and identity when I found out I was a ware wolf. I kept changing in the shadows away from home without being suspected.
on my senior year of high school is when I came to know my pack, and my werewolf parents. actually mother or the Luna as I prefer calling her. my father the previous Alpha was murdered by the enemy pack three years before they found me. It was hard at the beginning but I eventually I coped with the Title.
I summoned every warrior and my Beta Noah and Charlotte as I punish her Infront of her fellow warrior. she had the highest rank, lead of the female warriors. she had good strength, speed and techniques but very disrespectful and I can't tolerate that for anything.
I gave her the most severe punishment I've ever given to the female warriors. Dishonourable discharge for four weeks, forfeiture of allowances and another one month in a confinement. she was shocked that I could be harsh with her.
"This will serve as a warning to the rest of you to never disobey and disrespect me, I won't tolerate it! " They gave me a strong Yes Alpha! I looked at all of them Charlotte's head was hung low in shame I gave a once over before excusing my self.
"You're dismissed!"
