Chapter 417 - Pokemon master of tactics: Chapter 417

After a few minutes, Gardevoir calmed down and Alex's group moved on.

The group soon came upon a property completely covered in a hard-looking fence. In addition, the entrance of this place had surveillance cameras attached to a massive iron door.

Alex stared at that steel door, and he couldn't help but question the usefulness of that steel door for a moment.

He rang the bell that was attached to the door as he thought about how easy it is for a trainer to bypass this security system.

"Ahh- it's Herr Stark. Haha, you've come at a good time. I came myself just a few minutes ago. come in"

The real estate agent who was already waiting on the property was a person that Steven had introduced to Alex so that he didn't have to worry about this person trying to screw him.

The double steel door opened and Alex began to enter the property.

It was a 55,000-square-meter property with a 10,000-square-meter mansion in the middle of it.

This enormous mansion only had 39 rooms, but 15 rooms were particularly large and ideal for turning 12 of those rooms into Pokemon training rooms.

The other 24 rooms had, in addition to the normal rooms, luxury rooms like the home theater room, gym room, gaming room, and the Music Room which Alex and his Pokemon can use to relax.

In addition, just outside the mansion was a huge pool which was big enough for all Pokemon if Alex to swim in this pool at the same time.

Alex's group came in front of the mansion and Alex started walking through the mansion with the real estate agent.

He saw the information and photos of this mansion before he visited it in person so he knew that as long as this property had no problem he would buy it.

In Dawn Hurst Town there were only a handful of mansions and villas and only two of these met Alex's requirement.

Luckily the owner of one of these two mansions was already waiting to sell his property as long as the price was right so that Alex didn't have to wait long before he was given a contract which he had let checked out straight away.

After a bit of bargaining, Alex was able to buy this mansion for 55 million Pokedollars.

If Alex had waited a bit longer he would have been able to lower the price further without any problems, but because he didn't want to waste time for a "couple of millions", he accepted this price relatively quickly.

Also, with Steven's help, Alex had already found and hired mansion staff members to work for him one day a week.

Every week the staff comes for a day to clean the pool and the rooms, trim the "garden" and wash Alex's clothes.

25 mansion staff members get from Alex a total of 50,000 Pokedollars for about 4 days a month which is a ridiculously good hour per Pokedollar rate but hardly noticeable to Alex.

Alex doesn't want to waste time with something like that so he has to hire staff but he doesn't want to be surrounded by strangers all the time so he chose this partial solution.

For a normal elite trainer, a 55 million mansion that costs at least 100,000 Pokedollars each month for staff, taxes, water, and so on is not something they can afford.

Most elite trainers don't even have an S-rank Pokemon, which at the cheapest only costs "5 million" Pokedollars, which explains the reason straight away.

Besides that, a reasonably good mansion only costs 5 to 8 million Pokedollars, which is 10 times cheaper than Alex's mansion.

Mid and Late-Elite Trainers usually have 3 or more S-rank Pokemon(s) and are usually able to buy themselves an expensive mansion like Alex's if they save up for a bit.

Alex, who had spent 55 million on this mansion, only considered it an investment that would pay off later and did not think that he had wasted his money.

He paid so much for this mansion because it had so much room space and because the basic structure of this mansion was already there so he didn't have to wait long to make it his perfect home.

Alex signed the contract and he shook hands with the real estate agent after walking around the entire mansion.

The real estate agent quickly departed with the words, "Ok Mister Stark, I hope you will be able to bring your things in here quickly so that you can enjoy living here. Haha, such an impressive mansion as yours is truthfully rare. I bet you can not wait to make this mansion your home ."

Alex replied with a smile, "I won't be moving in for another two months so I'll have to wait a bit at a hotel."

The real estate agent unraveled a puzzled expression upon hearing this.

Alex explained, "I plan to build a special Pokemon training room that will take a relatively long time and because I want to train my Pokemon optimally during this time, I have to move to a hotel."

The real estate agent and Alex talked for a few more minutes before he said goodbye.

With the help of Steven, Alex had already commissioned the company to build these particularly effective Pokemon training rooms, which Steven also uses himself.

Steven's Pokemon training room was built specifically for Rock and Steel-type Pokemons and cost a fortune but is, also because of that, about 40% more effective than the best training room in a hotel.

Steven paid 70 million Pokedollars for this training room which allows at least 20 big Pokemon to be effectively trained at the same time.

Alex didn't need that much space so he planned to have 12 relatively small training rooms built

Each of these training rooms had Alex build them specifically for his Pokemon's species, further reducing the cost of each individual room while increasing the effectiveness of each room at the same time.

But because the 15 rooms of this mansion are so large that there is still a lot of space left, Alex decided to transform the rest of this room so that his Pokemon could also sleep in this room as well.

However, Alex still had to pay an average of 15 million Pokedollars per room.

200 million Pokedollars was the original price from this company for these 12 rooms and Alex managed to get the price down to 185 million Pokedollars.

Alex, who had over 360 million Pokedollars a week ago, now has about 125 million Pokedollars, but he has no regrets about his spending.

Each of these rooms improves the Move Mastery and Body mastery improvement times by approximately 40%.

If Alex had paid 30 million Pokedollars per room, that number would jump to 45%, which is the fastest improvement times possible.

But even Alex can't afford a 5% upgrade for 200 million.

Or better said, he doesn't want to pay that much for 5% if for that money he can still improve the potential of his Pokemon and when he still needs money to build his organization.
