The vampire princess began teaching Alliyah with how to act properly towards the vampire nobles and elders.
Among vampires, the ranking system and each coven's hierarchy are very important.
"How come the members of the Vanguard do not mention the coven they belong in?" Alliyah pointed out.
As she walked with Princess Sylvia along the hallway of the vampire king's castle, the eyes of the other vampire guards glanced away in their direction.
Though, the two walked not paying attention to the curious eyes of the others.
"Well, most of them were supposed to be dead due to the dire thirst or near-death experience. Before the vampire king ruled, there were ample resources of blood around that were free for us to take. The slavery system was not yet much established compared to today. So there were vampires who did not belong to any covens and do not wish to be restricted by it. There are members whom I saved from their own perils," Princess Sylvia answered.
