Stepping into another smaller room next to the main one, Shizuka and Kishi were left alone once they were in. The kind man who guided them bowed slightly and closed the door in front of him, leaving the two teens in the room with nothing but torches and curtains.
'Wait, curtains?'
Kishi and Shizuka looked at each other. The male's hand reached out to the red-dyed curtain. When he touched it, it felt soft, reminding him of how flannel felt. Or perhaps, it's flannel.
Shizuka observed the golden tassels dangling above them. The yellowish-white ropes became an accent colour for the tassels. Brushing her fingers against them, Kishi and she halted their movements when the curtains opened by themselves.
Peeking by the sides with Shizuka standing below Kishi, they eyed the man that had his back facing them. His long navy-blue robe along with a white upper top wasn't really that hard to miss. His long branch-like staff reminded them of the ones the Eidolon Mages used.
