*Viz and Kai enter the maze and see a sign saying All those that seek the truth blind your eyes and follow your heart for only the truth-seeker will find the way*
Kai: What is this? Some riddle? I don't like riddles.
Viz: Seems like a poem telling us how to get through the maze
Peacekeeper: That's exactly what it is. This maze is nothing more than a child's attraction there's nothing here
*Peacekeepers are Civitas Caelum's police group that enforces the king's laws to join the peacekeepers, you have to have a ID color of yellow or above*
Kai: So one of the devil's ring is not here?
Peacekeeper: Hahahahah, that's a myth boy. There is no such thing as Devil's rings!
Viz: Oh well thanks for the help
*Viz pulling Kai deeper into the maze*
Kai: Yo Viz do they not know?
Viz: I guess not, but it would make sense. There are only five in the world and only a few people in the world can use them and it's a cursed rings it make sense people would think they are myths.
Kai: So does that mean the ring is not here?
Viz: I'm not 100%, but in the book, the wizard that defeated the demon 1150 years ago said he left one ring in each of the countries' sectors. Five rings and five sectors and the maze is the oldest structure here in the capital.
Kai: How do you know all this?
Viz: The MADMAN had a library that had knowledge that's dead to the world now and its was the only books I read in my spare time that's why I knew so much about your ring.
Kai: What are the other four rings powers?
Viz: Chaos, teleportation, reflection, and healing.
Kai: They seem kinda random dont you think?
Viz: Yeah but the powers all came from that demon.
Kai: Do you know what ring we are looking for?
Viz: Nope its jus somewhere here. Try closing your eyes follow your heart *Viz trying to not laugh*
Kai: Um ok. *closes eyes* Uh Viz I have my eyes closed right?
Viz: Yeah why
Kai: I still can see my body but my ring is glowing
Viz: Really? Well look around do you see anything?
Kai: It's like a portal hovering in the air over there. Follow me
*runs over to the portal*
Viz: Do you still see it?
Kai: Yea it's pulling my hand now!
*portal pulls Kai in, Viz barely managed to grab hold of Kai. They find themselves in a pitch-black room *
Kai: I see seven rings and a sign that says "elige quod chose circulum, quod est in corde tuo, aut prudenter mors altera parte"
Viz: It says "pick the ring that is in your heart chose wisely or death is the next part"
Kai: So you're telling me if I pick the wrong ring I die?
Viz: Exactly.
Kai: I'm just going to grab one *breathing hard* on 3
Viz: 1...2....3!!!
Kai: Ahhhhh *grabbing the ring with great fear*
*the ring appears on his pinky moving his first ring to his ring finger. A voice began to come from above the sounds is like a teen*
Mysterious Voice: Ah hahahaha you thought you were going to die. I was waiting for this moment for like 1000 years. No. You're not going to die, the ring is already cured!
Kai: Who are you!?
Viz: The wizard that defeated the demon!
Mysterious Voice: Yes smart creepy kid, you are correct. I am Marlin the Black I defeated Ni'Drat the Demon King many years ago and I separated him into my five rings. I see you child, already managed to get one, plus the new one. You have two! Congratulations you are the first! The rings have this bad habit of turning the user's insane! But I see your fine. let me guess you want the five rings for revenge?
Kai: No
Marlin The Black: To take over the world?
Kai: No
Marlin The Black: Hmm you're a weird kid. Well, what do you want the rings for?
Kai: Honest truth. I really don't know.
Marlin The Black: ... Well, have fun with that the ring, it's yours, you better hope it doesn't drive you mad *laughing disappearing*
*laughter slowly fades*
*Viz and Kai appear back at the entrance of the maze*
Viz: So what does the ring do?
Kai: Teleportation.
Viz: How did you know that?
Kai: It's the same as the gravity ring, I just knew when I put it on
Viz: Oh ok cool. Well, let's head back to the guild hall and let's see where Trex and Velocity went off to.
