Sofia looked up, confused." What's going on?"
Eric Crown explained. "Sofia, you are to be relocated today,"
Sofia was stunned. "Today?" ... "To where?"
Sofia's eyes widened in shock as she processed the news. "Today?" she repeated, her voice laced with uncertainty. "To where?" she asked, looking at Eric and Katie for answers.
Eric's expression was sympathetic, but resolute. "You'll be safe, Sofia. That's all that matters right now."
Katie got up from the couch and walked over to Sofia, giving her a warm hug. "We'll miss you," she said softly. "But this is for the best."
