The awkwardness between Stephen and me felt heavy, mixed with strange intimacy as if we've known each other for a long time. "This is not the time to be intimate!" he berated us.
Stephen immediately pulled his hand away. "We're not being intimate! I meant stay with her friends!"
The man smirked. "Yeah, right. As if you weren't about to—"
"Get lost, freak!" Stephen hissed. The man shrugged and walked away, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"You could have been nicer," I teased.
"Nah, I've known him since birth. That's Dashfrey Vale, a royal from the Eclipse kingdom." He replied, nonchalantly.
