"If that's the case then I will ask that you quit with the pretence because no matter what you do, I will never agree to your relationship with my son," Mrs Adams concluded in a stern tone.
"That is so unfortunate if you don't intend to give us your blessings. That means you won't be able to attend your first son's wedding," Stephanie who has been holding back said beaming. Her sly smile and words made Mrs Adams angrier.
"How dare you speak to me in that manner?" Mrs Adams roared in annoyance.
"You are the one who said you dislike me treating you nicely so what are you complaining about this time around? Don't you know what you want anymore?" Stephanie asked seriously. She didn't sound polite nor did she sound friendly too. Her tone was neutral but not her words.
"You are so rude and two-faced. I wonder what you did to my children to make them love you so much to the point that they could give up their lives for yours," Mrs Adams said glaring at the carefree lady in front of him.
